we dont need the flashy backdrop or the nice shirts on cecil and bloom just a rought video is great keep it simple i see people on youtube make great hd videos using relatively cheap equip and its done quit well!

Personally, if Cecil and Sig can't be wearing their "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" blue shirts, then I don't wanna see it.Seriously though, any inkling on why the option didn't get picked up, Marc? Couldn't have been because of quality or content....cuz they're DAMN LIARS if that's the case!The 5MD started my love affair with Cecil's "White-Dude Road Runner Fade." If it goes the way of the dinosaur, then I think a little piece of me will have died. *queues "Sunrise, Sunset" in the background *

You know, there's a website I know - it's all about fantasy football. They are really successful. So successful, that this year - get this - they GAVE AWAY their drafting guide FOR FREE!! You know they're rolling in dough if they can do that! Anyway, I bet they could swing something. Would you guys be willing to wear a black-eyed pig on your shirts?

We certainly love making the show.Bloom and I may do a video draft guide but it remains to be seen whether it'd be under the 5MD name or something new. Thanks for all the kind words, guys! I'm required to keep mum on the details due to my contract with ON, but rest assured it wasn't the performance or quality of the show. Other business factors beyond our product are at play.

We have talked about reaching out to major media outlets, but for various reasons in our personal lives, we haven't gone out of the way to do it. But hey, if anyone's got a network contact, we'll certainly make a strong pitch.

This is actually pretty disappointing. You guys do a great job. It's probably one of the best in-season quick information snapshots a fantasy football geek can have available for free.

I love the 5-Minute Drill and was bummed when I found out the news.

But folks have to keep in mind the time and expense involved in doing what Marc, Sigmund and Cecil did and their need to make a living. On the flip side, web-based video content networks are struggling to monetize themselves. Google hasn't yet figured out how to turn YouTube profitable, ON and Revision 3 have both had to retrench a bit, and networks like Veoh are on their last legs.

I known one challenge the 5MD had was its lack of evergreen appeal. By its very nature, there was a timeliness element to it, and that makes it harder to build a sustainable revenue network if something goes viral and can be watched over and over for months/years to come.
