Whats up dudes. Can you guys talk a bit about your expectations for Mardy Giliard going forward? As Joe Namath once said to Suzy Kolber, can Mardy "make noise now"?

What is GB going to do in terms of offensive scheme with JerMike out? Will they just plug in different tight ends or will James Jones and/or Jordy Nelson see an expanded role if they go with more 3 and 4 wide sets?

I'm also curious about your thoughts on impact players that will be coming off the PUP?

Can you guys talk a little about what you expect from the PIT passing Game? Big Ben, Mike Wallace and HWard? How big of a jump do they get? Was the playcalling ultra conservative more out of necessety due to the QB situation - or has the philosophy changed for the Steelers for the whole season? Are we going to see more of the same or now that they get Big Ben back or are they gonna let him air it out?

If Aaron Rodgers gets the OK to play this week would you take the chance with him at home versus Miami or Big Ben in his first game back versus Cleveland?

So I'm a keeper league n00b and this year I'm in my first such group. Can you talk about strategies thru the season that I should be employing to help set myself up for years to come?

League is keep 4 max, lose draft in round they were drafted, +2 rounds up for those drafted beyond the 7th. I actually had a really good draft (draft rounds noted in parentheses), got LeSean McCoy (3) Ahmad Bradshaw (5) Big Ben (8) Royal (11) Demaryius Thomas (12) and Peyton Hillis (15) so I think I already have some good keeper options for next year, but would like to know if there are any strategies I haven't thought of.

Thanks.

Jonathan

When is it ok to bench a stud?

I have DeSean Jackson but Kolb's lack of a rapport with him and a tendency to check down rather than look downfield has me considering starting Michael Crabtree over him. Good move or bad?

Thanks a ton!

Bring the noise, Fellas!

Got some WDIS due to some disparity on the FBG rankings...looking for your thoughts:

1. PPR: Need (1) WR and (1) WR/RB flex.... which two? D.Bowe @HOU, Mike Thomas vTEN, R.Torain vIND?

2. PPR: Need (1) Flex: Felix @MIN, Crabtree v.OAK, Lynch @CHI, or B.Tate v.BAL?

3. QB: Eli v.DET or Culter v.SEA?

There are a long list of BIG names who are in the final year of their contract (see my thread listing the names). Which players do you see benefiting from FA next year (exiting their current team) and which do you see being hurt (losing a starting gig or going to a worse situation)? Which do you think will stay put and it is just a matter of time before the team agrees to terms?

Underperformiog stud starter question, do you stick with them or make a change?

For example:has been disappointing this season other than the 1st week, do you bench him for guys that are hot right now, like Shawn Hill?

Thanks guys.

What are Vince Young's floor and ceiling using a scale of 32, the number of staring QB's in the NFL? Are his mechanical issues correctable? Is he being held back by the offensive philosophy of the coaching staff, the skill players around him or his dedication in the film room or on the practice field? From what you have seen from him this year how much longer is he the Titans starting QB and do you believe the team will be looking for a replacement in the near future?

Thanks

Hey Guys,

From what you know of Andy Reid in Philly, do you think the Eagles will keep Celek in more to help block with Jason Peters injured? Peters' replacement at Tackle looked like my little sister last week;

Also, in 12 team PPR leagues do you drop Dwayne Bowe? I mean, he's big, he's fast, he's strong... he can't catch. The word "receiver" is actually in the title of his occupation but so far he's getting paid millions to drop the ball and destroy my fantasy team. I can lose him and pick up Branch or Heyward-Bey or Don Rickles or...

Hey guys, great show. Keep up the good work.

First off, I've got Vick and have been grabbing waiver guys the last few weeks and it's worked pretty well (S. Hill this week). So, my question is who do I grab and start this week?

S. Hill, K. Kolb, J. Freeman, M. Cassell, A. Smith or J. Freeman

Also, who do I start between Mathews and Tolbert?

Thanks.

Which side do you like more in a 10 team dynasty non-ppr.

I would give Reggie & Aaron Hernandez for Deangelo?

I'm sure you will comment on the Jerome Harrison/Mike Bell trade but from my untrained eyes it seems one-sided in Pillies favor. Maybe you can throw a bone in the direction of Mike Bell and what he has to offer because I'm not too familiar with him or what his skill set is.

Also since Cecil and Sig come from a Steeler fan perspective and Pittsburgh gets the maiden voyage by rookie Colt McCoy, could you go back and re-visit your draft takes on McCoy? I'm curious what he might be able to do Sunday and what his long-term/high-end potential could be.

Thanks!

Hi guys,

Great show as always - thanks so much.

Hakeem Nicks is almost the Miles Austin/Sidney Rice of 2010, who will be the Hakeem Nicks of 2011?

Devin Thomas - buy or cut? Outlook in Carolina?

You guys are the best.

Keep up the great work.

Who are some under the radar TEs that Finley owners should be going after either via the waiver wire or through trades that can be had for a reasonable price? Without limiting the list I am thinking along the lines of guys like Olsen, Carlson, Daniels, H. Miller, Scheffler, Marcedes Lewis, etc. This is for a deeper ppr league. Thanks!

I've got a strategy question that has flowed out of my situation. I've got Rivers and Gates, which has been great. At RB and WR I have been inundated with injuries, poor play and demotions. My main RBs are Addai, Stewart McFadden, Barber and my main WRs are Andre, S Smith (Car), Gaffney and Clayton.

With issues galore, is it best to keep the studs and try to build around them even though it will be hard or is it best to make sure holes are filled by trading quality for quantity.

I know league rules, etc., impact things but I am mostly interested in hearing general thoughts that we could apply in various situations.

Thanks guys, you are definitely the best thing out there!

Would you trade Randy Moss for Jamal Charles straight up in a league that rewards double points for out of position TD's and length bonuses? I am desperate at RB (Greene, Best, Barber, McGahee, Reggie) as none have panned out. I have Moss, Nicks, Gaffney, McCluster (had Clayton and Finely but will be scouring the WW for replacements). Start 2 RB's, 3WR/TE. He has Turner, Foster, Charles, Spiller for RB's and Walters, TB Mike Williams, Santana, MSW, Fitz and Vincent Jackson. I have tried Moss for Turner or Foster but he won't go for either.

Anthony Armstrong......Discuss keepability in a salary cap league. Is he worth keeping @ about 2% of cap for 2 or 3 years? The cap hit will still be there even if he does nothing and is dropped.

IDP league with 9 offensive starters with 3WR with a RB/WR flex. 15-20 ( max) offensive players on roster.

Hi Guys. I appeciate all of your advice every week. I'm sorry if this question is a little long.

I have a question about flex position flexibility. My 12 team PPR league starts 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE and 1 RB/WR/TE flex. With 8 of 12 teams making the playoffs and no byes awarded, my primary concern at this point is the playoffs. I drafted Zach Miller, Oak because I felt there was too much value to pass up, despite already drafting Antonio Gates, who has the same bye week. I figured I could use Zach as a flex and then possibly trade him later. I have been using him as a flex most weeks so far and it has worked well. My roster is as follows:

PManning, CHenne

APeterson, LTomlinson, PHillis, BJackson, MTolbert, TGerhadt, JDavis

HNicks (thanks Sig!), SMoss, SSmithCar, MWilliamsTB, MThomas, LMoore

AGates, ZMiller, JGresham

RLongwell

Dolphins

A leaguemate who had Finley has the following WRs:

HWard, MColston, TOwens, BLloyd, SSmithNYG

I'm considering trading ZMiller to him for an equivalent WR such as Ward who has three home games for the playoffs (14,15,16). By gaining some WR depth (especially if SSmithCar doesn't return to form), I feel I will have more flexibility in my flex position between using a 3rd RB (especially when AP, LT and Hillis are all playing) or a 4th WR instead of always using the 2nd TE. In all probability, there is more of a chance one of my top WRs will get hurt than Gates.

Any general thoughts on consistently using a 2nd TE as a flex? If you think it might be wise to move ZMiller, are any of the five WRs above head and shoulders above the rest for the palyoffs in weeks 14, 15 and 16? Am I getting enough value in return?

Thanks.

Hey guys---

Is there concern for Moss owners with Favre's bantering about his elbow? If Minny loses another game or two soon could he possibly shut it down? Should I be looking to deal Moss away while value is high, or just think Favre will play through it and Moss will be huge? If you are gonna deal him, what type of running back could I be looking for in a deal back? Thanks as always!

When do I cut ties to former "preemptive" waiver wire pickups?

How many weeks of no production does it take to let the potential of certain players such as D. Heyward-Bey or Buster Davis? I have been holding onto guys like this since they initially showed promise. Are you now droppable for other pickus such as Gibson or Gilyard?

I'll keep it quick:

Do you gentlemen feel that Trevor Scott sticks at OLB? Or is it merely just a short-term gimmick in Oakland right now?

Would be nice to plug in LB production at one of my DE spots. He's been dangling off the end of my bench the whole season.(Cut, re-picked up, cut, re-picked up, etc.) Getting LB reps is making me keep hold for this week at least. Worth it? Or jettison?

Hi again guys. What about potentially good defenses for TWO weeks ahead?

My suggestion is to add a “5 minute segment” each week for those of us that play DTBC. My thought is for you to spend 2 or 3 minutes talking about good waiver wire defensive plays for THIS week of the probable defenses on the waiver wire. The problem though, is that by Thursday evening, most of those good ones will have been gobbled up already.

So maybe more importantly, what if you also spent just a minute or two looking TWO weeks ahead? That would allow us to snap up that potentially good defense a week early, and before we’d have to take our chances with the waiver wire.

Vincent Jackson...

what should we realistically expect upon his week 12 return?

What caliber of player do you think should be dropped for him, if he's still available?

What is his current trade value?

Thanks!

Gotta roll with one of these two guys in my flex spot: Marshawn Lynch or Joseph Addai. Which one do you think will have the bigger fantasy impact this week, assuming Addai starts?

Lammey, Bloom, THE NEW GUY...One of these things is not like the others?
"Wildman", some constructive criticism: Why go ON AND ON AND ON for 3 minutes at a time (not an exaggeration) to make such iffy points, almost always based on your personal opinion/speculation? Do you have a track record? WHY are we listening to you going on, and on, AND ON...
