Hey fellas!

I'd like to hear your opinions on carrying backup QBs after your top QB's bye is past. I've got Brady and Tebow (who I'm trying to deal to upgrade my WRs or RBs). Assuming I find a deal for Tebow, what do I do for a backup QB:

[*]Grab a guy off waivers (Colt McCoy would be the obvious choice in my league followed by Cassel and Palmer)

[*]Pick up Brian Hoyer (since I'm not playing my backup unless Brady's out anyway)

[*]Go commando with only one QB

Keep motorboating, cuz "That's Rock and ROLL!"

Hey Guys ...love the show

I am curious about your opinions about Santonio Holmes for the rest of the season. Do you see him having WR2 value the rest of this season or in the future for that matter?

Could you talk about some WRs you would target in trades that could have big impacts in the second half?

Thanks for the great work

I think maybe "Madhouse" by anthrax oughta open the show with the wild and crazy week we just had.

Can demariyus thomas step right in and produce this week and what role do you see for him in a tebow led offense.

What are you thoughts on CJ Spiller for dynasty purposes? Is he destined to be another RB/WR hybrid or does he have feature back potential if given the opportunity (or when Fred Jackson stops being a stud)

Thanks. Love the show

I take it you're going to require Matt to address the bench in whispers only? :) Question: Chris Johnson vs. Mendenhall in PPR dynasty over the remainder of this year and, say, the next 2 seasons beyond - Which way you leaning considering all pluses and minuses on each side?

Is Johnson the bounce back candidate that most seem to think he is with Locker looming past this season? Starting to worry that he may have packed it in some since he got paid.

Is Mendenhall too much of a slave to the porous Pittsburgh offensive line to recapture a decent chunk of his shine going forward? And does Pittsburgh retain him when he hits FA(think that is soon)?

many thanks in advance.

Thanks for the great work guys.

If possible, can you provide any clarity on the Detroit RB situation? I've read a few items about Best possibly being out for the season, and we know that Brown isn't coming to Detroit. Is it MoMo or possibly a FA acquisition?

Also, it would be great to learn about your RB top 5 predictions for the rest of the season.

You see, Your Honor, it all started when my client, Sexy Becksy...
This is a kangaroo court anyhow with Cecil as judge, jury, and executioner.
Sexy Becksy is a whispering kangaroo that might be executed? This show is going to be heavy.

Like Judge Dredd, I AM THE LAW....sorry, just saw Anthrax last night :headbang: Actually, Sigmund is the judge presiding over the fantasy court room and he will give his judgement tonight.

Not sure I can listen live tonight boys, but here's something I would love to hear Jene talk about...

Jahvid Best has yet another concussion, and reports vary as to how long he will/should be out.

But for dynasty owners out there, how concerning should this latest concussion be? Specifically what kind of return would Dr. Jene accept for Best at this point (in other words, how aggressive would he be in getting SOMETHING back for Best in return?).

"Can't Wait"

I'm looking for some advice in a deep dynasty league 28 man rosters with 12 teams... standard non-ppr scoring... I have Blount but Graham is on another team... My question is about Chad Spann & his health. Is there any inside information or conversation that Matt has had with Mr. Spann that would give me an outlook on whether the Bucs plan to bring him off their practice squad? How does the IR designation work that he is able to be signed elsewhere? I like his opportunity to be an explosive element on the Bucs offense instead of being behind an Addai and Carter and Damnit Donald (who knew?) and Evans. What kind of opportunity could he see maybe later this season?

thanks and cecil keep motorboating you old sailor you!

First off great stuff as always guys, I enjoy listening to each podcast.

Question regarding gimpy RB. Who would you rather have the rest of the year, LeGarrate Blount or Felix Jones? Does your answer change if we're looking at non-PPR v PPR? Thanks!

Cecil Motorboating is taking over... It's everywhere!! I sent you a tweet earlier today (@rc8200) about the other day when I was snoozing on the couch & my wife was watching Watch What Happens Live & they were discussing The Real Housewives of New Jersey... She woke me up when they started talking about Motorboating (specifically around 1:40 into it)

Hilarious!! 2 bags of peat moss!! :lmao: :lmao:

Gotta love it when my wife points it out!!

hahaha

Not so proud owner of Peyton Hillis (Madden Curse be damned!). I also have Hardesty, I am depending on one of them or Earnest Graham to be an RB2 for me the rest of the way to fill out an otherwise championship caliber roster. What say you all on this? What are the chances one of this triumvirate becomes a reliable RB2 in PPR?

Thread chatter sounds like a great show tonight!

Antonio Gates will finally be active again in Week 7.

So what do you think in the Flex spot?

• Antonio Gates @ Jets

or

• Jonathan Stewart vs Redskins

Just a quick bit of advice form you guys would really help.

There are a bunch of us guys out here who have 2 or 3 Qb's in the 12-20 range each week and we rotate them by matchups.

This week is really hard to pick in 50/50 league

Bradford

Freeman

Hasselbeck

this bunch is my crop and is pretty typical of the kind of QB's a other matchups players might have.

Now..whoever I pick alwasy sucks while the damn lights go off like a Christmas Tree on the bench part of my live screen. I really need to pick the guy with the best numbers this week. I have beaten like a redheaded stepchild by my own logic so far.

Without a doubt you guys are the single best source out there for fantasy football information! Thanks and keep up the great work. Your exhaustive efforts are much appreciated.

I have a RB dynasty-stash question for you guys (PPR). Who do you guys like of these rookie runners: Shane Vereen, Dion Lewis, Da'Rel Scott, Bilal Powell, Phillip Tanner and Taiwan Jones. Who is most likely to eventually be a featured runner, and who has the best potential? Do any of them have a realistic chance at fantasy relevance?

Gentleman,

What are your longterm thoughts on Felix Jones? Is he ever going to get it going or will his body continue to let his talent down? Would you be looking to sell for whatever you can get now? Wait until he comes back but run this risk of his value dropping even more if Murray lights it up? Or would you be looking to acquire him on the cheap? Thanks in advance.

Chimp

skype problems ?
something eh?can anyone let me know if that eventually cleared up? It was unlistenable to me so I cut it off.
Was it bad all the way through? Most of the live issues were with Matt's connection. There were a few brief issues for me with Cecil, but very brief. Matt dropped out after 20-25 minutes then was out for most of the rest of the show. I thought Cecil/Sig were clear the entire time.

The feed was fine by the time Jene jumped aboard. For the most part it was just Matt's connection
I guess my fuse was burned short from the tech difficulties with Waldman then... because I think I got fed up around the time Jene came on to talk about concussions. Lammy was going in and out w/ that horrible digital kind of crackle sound, so I said fk it.
