3 semi final round decisions:

Tough QB call this week

Rodgers vs Stafford

RB PPR

Bush vs Moreno

and

Flex PPR

Wilson (if no Bradshaw) vs Nicks

Boring WW Defense question :

Cleveland at home v Redskins with Cousins possibly starting, or Miami at home against a dismal Jacksonville team.

Also, Kenny Britt or Miles Austin this week ?

Thanks, sick sick show guys.

What do you guys think about the All-Play scoring format vs the traditional H2H format?

Hey guys. Need 3 of Dez, Stevie, Garcon, Crabtree, PPR and Im a pretty big underdog with RGIII banged up and going against Cruz, Marshall, VJax, Ray Rice , Martin, Hernandez,Payton and Dalton

I also haveStafford, Trent, DMC and Witten going

With Jared Cook out for the season will we see more of Taylor Thompson the final 3 games of the season? In a 12 team 20 man roster contract dynasty league is Thompson worth signing to the active roster for 2013?

Hey guys,

10 team PPR any reasons not to go with these choices:

QB RG3 over Kaepernick (keep going back and forth on this one, may have to flip a coin)

RB2 Ridley over Murray/LeShoure/Bell

Flex D.Alexander over Gordon/Shorts/above RBs

Def NE over TEN/CLE/other besides DET (if no RG3, like CLE)

Most of my opponents team goes in the early game, so I can do some juggling at RB2 depending on how his morning goes. If I am he his guys under perform thinking maybe swapping in Murray in at RB2 to get a higher floor. If his guys go off maybe try to catch lightning in a bottle and go with Bell.

Thanks in advance and keep up the great work.

I know that you guys get this question very consistently, but I am very interested in your advice. I just started my own sports website (sportswunderkind.com if you wanna drop the free plug! haha), and I am really rather clueless as to how to get things started. Do you guys have any advice to someone who wants to break into the industry?

Hey Guys!

Flex PPR question:

1- Golden Tate vs. BUF

2- DeAngelo Williams vs. SD

3- Brandon $ Lloyd vs. SF

4- Brandon Myers vs. KC

No real bad options, but nobody that jumps out. Do you think Lloyd has earned a bigger role in that offense minus Gronk and Edelman and Stallworth? Is his success sustainable through the fantasy playoffs

Thanks!

I have long been a fan of all of your work and in particular the rookie scouting portfolio BY FAR has been something that I think gives me an edge in all of my leagues so thanks again to all of you for making this fake football that we love more enjoyable and for making us all look a little smarter.

Im struggling with the decision of Josh Gordon or 'Nicks'ed up Hakeem this week in a NON-PPR? I normally roll with if he's active he's in as far as Nicks goes but Gordon's floor seems similar lately and his upside could be better this wk.

Is Josh Gordon reaching a pt where he is in the discussion for a mid WR2 with WR1 upside at this juncture in the season?

on a dynasty note...

Wildman... What can we expect from Nicks in the future? I grow weary of the is he or isn't he going to be what he could be? Seems like the talent is incredible but his body just sucks!!

Also What kind of ceiling can we realistically look forward to for Josh Gordon in the future and do you believe that the Browns organization as a whole will attract a competent GM who can take advantage of some of the weapons that they have accumulated on offense? Are you seeing the kind of improvements that you were hoping for from Gordon that can make him a legit #1 WR next yr and beyond?

Thanks in advance and keep up the good work as always!!

One final note... I can't believe Im rolling with Moreno as a top 10 option the rest of the way this yr but what choice do I/we have? He's the bellcow on a team that seems content to let him be that.

What do you guys think about the All-Play scoring format vs the traditional H2H format?
Or a format where the top 5 scoring teams in a 10 team league, or top 6 in a 12 team league all get a win for the week and the rest get a loss? Kinda a "hybrid" as it still gives you just one game for the week?I ask because we had a crazy week in our league with a team losing having scored 175 points, while another won scoring 109. Thanks for the podcast!

I feel like I should send you guys a cut of what is shaping up to be a very profitable year for me.

Non PPR, how would you rank these WR options this week:

Brandon Lloyd vs SF (potentially bad weather)

Cecil Shorts at Mia (potentially limited)

Pierre Garcon at Cle (against Joe Hayden)

Both New England and Green Bay have tough match ups this week. Both of these teams have a lot of fantasy options, many of which have carried us to the situation we are in now. Can you address the NE and GB match ups and let us know who to trust and how much?

The specific scenarios I am debating in my PPR league is if I should bench Ridley and/or Cobb (I've started them all year) and plug in Moreno and/or Steve Smith (both have ridden the bench most of the season)

Need Help! Non-PPR. Need 2RB/2WR/1Flex: CJ2K, SJax, Spiller, D.Martin, Cobb, AJ Green & D.Alexander? Thx! #FantasyFootball

Hey guys, love the show :)

What do you think of the matchup for Kaepernick this week? Sounds great with how poor NE's pass D has been playing, but I have a feeling Belicheck will throw confusion formations at Kaepernick to take advantage of the rookie's relative inexperience. What do you guys think, and would you play him over RG3 if his condition is not good going into sunday? Thanks!

Hi Guys,

Thank you for the hard work and great advice that you guys have provided again this season!! Injuries during the fantasy playoffs are making starting lineup decisions much tougher.

For my last starting spots at RB2 & WR3 in a standard-scoring league:

RB2 - DeMarco Murray (home against PIT) or Knowshon Moreno (at BALT)? (RB1 is Doug Martin) - I was leaning toward Murray, but now I think Moreno may have more upside.

WR3 - Dez Bryant (home against PIT), Josh Gordon (home against WASH), or Cecil Shorts (at MIA)? (other WRs are Brandon Marshall & Reggie Wayne) - I really want to start Bryant, but I think the risk may be too great, so I am starting to lean toward Gordon.

Please let me know your thoughts.

Thanks!!

Julio Jones home game production has been WR3/4 range whereas his road production has been at #1 WR in FF levels, almost 16 ppg on the road/outside vs. 5.4 ppg at home/indoors, regardless of matchups.

It sounds counter intuitive but we have 13 data points and the playoffs aren't a time to be aspirational if you have other options. Just want to hear a discussion about whether you have to understand a trend before you apply what you're seeing.

I'm set on starting Reggie Wayne & Danario Alexander over Julio as my 2 WRs and probably flex Demarco Murray in my first round standard league playoffs and I could see someone like Josh Gordon or Pierre Garçon getting that 80 yards and a TD and just dominating a Julio owner staring at 3/44/0. Agree? Thoughts?

I know you guys get sick of seeing my name! I know it is hard to elaborate on Twitter, so I thought I would check in here.

#1. Sigmund I listened to the Couch and so I got the gist of the Rodgers opinions. It seems that you and Dodds do not see eye to eye on the Rodgers or Freeman fronts. I guess I am just going to go with my gut on Sunday, but the closer I get to that point, I feel like I will have to go with Freeman. With no Jordy, and the Packers pushing that running game, I just don't think we can trust Rodgers to get attempts. At least you can count on that from Freeman

#2. This should be a great one for a lot of people. Reggie Wayne helped a lot of people get the playoffs. So did Danario Alexander. With Luck struggling, and playing Houston with that OLine, I feel very strongly that Reggie and DX will be very close this week. Is there any insight as to which one will be a better play. They both get targets, short, intermediate, and deep. They both are a favorite of their respective QBs. Reggie has the better match up in the secondary, but his QB has a terrible match up IMO. DX has a tougher match up, but not where it should kill him

Those are my two big decisions

Joqiue bell vs dwyer vs bialil powell
vs. Owens vs. *gulp* Murray?Been a fairly busy discussion on the SP about Bell vs. "Fill in the Blank." Wonder what you think of him over a guy most seem to think is a "set it and forget it RB2" in Murray. That Steeler matchup sucks. Dunno if I have the balls to start JB over DeMarco.....yet. Thoughts?

Merry Christmas to you and yours gents.

May your Holiday Season be full of joy and Fantasy Playoff Bliss.

Tell us about the dynasy move you made this year you are most proud of.

G

It would probably be a good thing to hear which (if any) defenses you guys would play over the Elite ones. Bears, Patriots, Broncos, Texans. Having trouble deciding between Patriots, Broncos, and one of the WW Defenses such as the Dolphins

Well here we go. Looks like it will be another disappointing game from Green. If they get up on them this time, I fully expect CIN to run the ball this time. Maybe not! Although you just can't sit the guy.

This drive right here will tell us whether they plan to throw it, I think!@

I will take about 9 or 10 of those 8 yard quick throws

I need to choose one of these PPR receivers: Pierre Garcon, Hakeem Nicks or Denario Alexander? I am leaning toward DX. Should he be trusted with so much on the line?
