Hi guys,

In a start 2qb league, how would your rookie rankings change for the qb's?

Thanks as always for the great show and all the hard work.

GREAT analysis of the draft last week guys. You out did yourself.

It seems like Robert Woods is already being slotted ahead of TJ Graham by a numerous analysts. Last year TJ was really seen as a up and coming talent. Is this just a by product of the excitement of the draft and the new shiny rookies pushing last years new shiny rookies back in out minds ? This seems like a prime example of that.

THis is my second year of really following the draft and playing in deep Dynasty leagues so is this something I will have to keep in mind so I don't give up on last years guys I have held onto with patience last year? How can I tell when hype/excitement about a new player might be a trap?

Hope that makes sense.

Hi guys,

I'm joining my first dynasty startup, whose draft begins in a week. I have footballguys dynasty rankings to get me going and of course Matt Waldman's RSP. I know which players I'm going to target (roughly) but my struggle is with the bidding.

I have done dynasty before, but it was taking over teams. This is from scratch. It is an auction league and I'm really struggling to figure out salary baselines for players. When I did baseball auction I knew for example that the top 5 players would go in the low $40s, the next group of 12 would go in the low 30s, best starting P goes for $40. I have no context for this.

Detail:

16 teams, IDP, PPR

40 man rosters

$1200 salary cap

80 contract years (5 max per player)

Could you guys help me with QB RB and/or WR salaries, meaning for QB Top QB will go for (guessing) $150, the 6th will be $100 and a borderline starter would be $50. Same with other positions. Or the top 10 overall will go for around X.

Sorry for the outrageously long question, any help you can give would be tremendously helpful. I'm re-listening to last week's audible as I'm typing this :)

Here are a couple of big Pittsbrugh-centric meat balls for you guys to hit out of the park.

1. Do you see Pittsburgh's 3rd round pick WR Markus Wheaton eventually beating out Emmanuel Sanders and what do think is his long-term value?

2. What is your take of the trade made between the Cleveland Browns and the Steelers in the fourth round where the Steelers acquired the Browns 4th round pick and selected SS Shamarko Thomas and the Browns picked up the Steelers 3rd round pick in 2014?

Gio Bernard seems a lot like Doug Martin to me, he might not be quite as explosive but the pass catching, powerful for his size, and even return ability seems somewhat similar. Is he the clear 1.1 for you guys and do you believe with a young offense like CINN he can be a RB2 with RB1 upside this year?

1. Leveon Bell has had a meteoric rise up dynasty draft charts. Is he worth a premium pick? I have visions of another big rookie back named Rashard Mendenhall that was supposedly built for NFL punishment until he met Ray Lewis.

2. What did you think of Marcus Lattimore pre-injury and where would you slot him on your rookie draft board as a prospect that will likely redshirt the upcoming season?

Thanks guys!

In a PPR dynasty start up how do you value guys like Steve Smith and Reggie Wayne? They are still hanging around in the 6th round obviously due to age. Is age the best indicator of shelf life? Or is it remaining contract, productivity arc, teams draft moves, or dumb luck?

Neither Carolina or Indy made a big splash with high profile wide outs in either of the last two drafts. Does that mean count on at least on more year of high end upside?

Thanks guys!
