First of all, welcome back Mr. Bloom. Secondly, my question:If you would, please talk a bit about running backs coming back from injury. Not so much the Adrian Petersons/Jamaal Charleses of the world, but those lower-tier guys... I'm thinking Jahvid Best, Mark Ingram, Ryan Williams, etc. Who among this group of RBs are you guys keeping an eye out for? I'm thinking those second/third/fourth year guys especially.I play in a 12-team Keeper League where all the owners covet RBs -highly-; I'm looking for steals in our Auction Draft that'll pay dividends during the season and into the next couple of years. Thanks for answer the question and great shooooooooow!

What do you feel is more important in a draft masters format that has no waivers and uses best ball line ups - team construction by position or the actual players you pick ?

I will be drafting in a 14 team PPR (6 pts all TD's) draft masters format tomorrow night on a live fantasy football show tomorrow night from the 13 slot with 3 RR so I will have 13-16-30 to start.

Would you consider one of the big 5 QB's (Rodgers, Brees, Brady, Stafford, Newton) at pick 13 if any of them fell or either of the stud TE's at pick 16 (Gronk, Graham) or would you think that would set you back too far at the RB and WR positions ?

Would you come into this draft already knowing your team constuction will be RB-RB-WR to start and ignore if any of those 7 players fell to you and wait on QB and TE as they are easier to get later in the draft ?

Thanks!

Welcome back Mr Bloom...I hope the prayers from many of us have helped provide a little peace to you and your family.

I challenged Matt's Dynasty rankings a bit last week (thank you for the usual professional response Matt. I would have gone all David Stern on me), but I would like to hear a little Sig vs Matt faceoff

You guys have pretty big differences in your Julio Jones, Dez, B Marshall, Steve Smith (Car)and M. Turner rankings, just to name a few. Put the gloves on and tell us who is right on a couple of these guys. :boxing:

First off Glad your back Bloom,

Here my question

When looking to draft a backup QB in fantasy football, is it better to draft a QB that is facing a poor D when your starter is on bye or one that has a poor team D so you can get Garbage time points?

Thanks guys love the show

Mr. B

Looking to sell a WR/TE to help bolster my RB corps in PPR Dynasty. Possible reserves on my roster to unload are Decker, S.Rice, and Gresham. With a package of 1, 2, or even all 3 players, what level of RB would you expect in return. Some of the WR/TE needy teams have RBs like D.Brown, S.Jackson, Best, McFadden that could be potential targets. My team is ready to make a serious run outside of RB2. Thanks and stay frosty.

In an ideal world with Kenny Britt healthy and Kendall Wright fully integrated into the offense, where do you see Wright lining up most often? Nate Washington lined up in the slot 51% of the time in 2011 (thanks profootballfocus metrics) and creates an interesting scenario for passing situations in the short-term. Paging Matt and his wonderful RSP rookie breakdown: Would Wright be the ideal slot man for Tennessee, or would his speed benefit an offense most on the outside with Washington in the slot?

Who signed in Miami OchoStinko or the other guy? ;)

It seems like a fantasy wasteland - QB Rookie Tannehill or Moore or Garrard, RB Daniel Thomas or Reggie Bush or Lamar Miller, WR Bess, Hartline, Ocho, Naanee, Gates, BJ CUnningham etc, TE Fasano, Egnew, Clay?

New coach, new system, new everything.

Is this the Bermuda triangle of fantasy hopes or could there be a nugget or two to scoop up late?

Condolences, Bloom. Glad you're back.

This question is primarily for Cecil, though I welcome Sig and Matt to chime in:

The man-love for Ronnie Hillman has gotten the attention of Audible fans, me included. But should we be concerned that Hillman won't make much of an immediate impact this season out of concern about his ability to grasp blitz pickup and protect He Who Must Be Protected At All Cost?

It seemed as if one of the reasons (among others) why it took so long for Donald Brown to gain traction in Indy was dissatisfaction with his pass blocking vis-a-vis the fine protection provided by Joseph Addai. Perhaps not a coincidence that Brown finally became a significant factor once Peyton was out of the Indy lineup? Hillman isn't a big guy, and a few of the scouting reports I've read suggest that he's strictly a cut-blocker, and not an exceptional one. Any chance that the overriding concern for Peyton's welfare limits Hillman to just a bit role this season?

Looking at the Patriot's offense this year, they have four pass catchers who can be considered among the elite at their positions (and are being drafted as such). However, while I love the games of Lloyd, Welker, Gronkowski, and Hernandez and think Brady is in for a huge year, I have a hard time believing that the offense will be good enough to sustain four fantasy starters on a week to week basis let alone four elite performers. So I guess my question is, should we be tempering our expectations for one or more members of the group or is this going to be a situation where a different one will go off each week?

Thanks guys, I look forward to another great show and am glad to have Sigmund back!

Hi guys,

Thanks for the great show....as always.

Please predict the wr order and fantasy value of the wr's in Cleveland and Washington.

Long time listener of the show. I've heard you all talk about the importance of getting QB's early in leagues that start 2 QB's. I've also heard Bloom mention his strategy of taking one of the top TE's (Graham or Gronkowski) early. That leads into what is currently vexing me. I have the option to keep Aaron Rodgers and lose my first round pick or keep Jimmy Graham and lose my 6th round pick. I should also note that this is a standard scoring, PPR league. I'd love to hear what you guys think. Thanks.

Hey Guys,

First off I just would like to take the opportunity to send my best wishes to Sig. We're all thinking about you and your family, but we're also glad to have you back brother!

With that being said, I have a quick question about the dynasty value of Broncos WR Eric Page. Page is a receiver that I was very high on coming into the draft. He's an absolute technician in the short to intermediate passing game, and has everything NFL teams look for in a slot receiver. He's a terrific route-runner. Stems routes, varies his speeds, counts his steps- all the little things that make guys like Welker and Stokley so effective. Seems to have a high football IQ, soft hands, and a knack for getting open. Also has no issue going over the middle, taking a hit, and coming away with the football. I had him going in the 4th to 5th round range and was shocked when he wasn't even drafted. He reminds me some of another Toledo receiving great, Lance Moore. But enough with the man love, I want to know what you guys think about Eric Page. Any value he'll have this year will likely be as a returner, but what do you think the long term prognosis is for him in Denver?

Thanks guys,

Ryan

P.S. I wrote a little scouting report on Page for a draft site I run. You can check it out here if interested... http://www.mockdraftclub.com/player-profiles/eric-page-profile

Welcome back Sig. Can't wait for the show tonight. Cec, your Bronco OTA reports are out-freaking-standing. Do you know of quality sources for the other 31 teams? :banned:

Sig! Great to have you back! I'm thinking about turning the league I commish now into a keeper league. What's a good starting point? How many players should a team keep. How many years seem reasonable to keep players? And how does the change the value of guys like Luck, Griffin and Richardson when it comes to drafting?

5-ish for President. :banned:

I would put that quote in a sig if I didn't think Joe would send me on a vacation....freakin hilarious.

No question this week. Just wanted to welcome Bloom back.

Cecil, you should just start off every show with a weekly public service announcement about how awesome Ronnie Hillman is. Your going to get a question about him anyway
