The Audible LIVE! 7/21/11 - 10PM ET (1 Viewer)

I will start off with a rumor. By the time the show gets rolling, we may know the answer to the Salary cap rumor. But, if there is no cap for the next couple of years, how do you see this effecting some of the available free agents. (DWill, Rice, etc)

LOVE the show, guys...

- does Denver's cap situation (as well as Carolina's projected massive need to spend to meet the cap floor) make Denver signing DeAngelo Williams less of a likelihood? I know they can make some moves to get more cap room but they appear to need to address defense PLUS sign their rookie picks?

Audible stakeout tonight, anyone?

On air until there's a new CBA!

(It would almost make me wish they would take a little longer. ...almost.)

Not to bring this back up in a RBBC-dominated league, but is the handcuff strategy completely dead? As I look down my board, I notice a couple situations that could yield some potential superstars if the lead back went down (even if they're not true "handcuffs" to begin with): Hardesty, Goodson (assuming DeAngelo leaves), LeShoure, etc. These guys in particular pretty immense talent and are all behind either fragile guys or guys who we can see wearing down pretty easily. Do you think they or any other guys warrant picks higher than their ADP because of the potential explosion?

Thanks guys, love the show!

Guys!

Could the three of you expand on different strategies you employ during auction drafts? I'm thinking also about tricks or mind games (if any!) You enjoy using to get into the heads of your fellow owners (its all in good fun!). I am always looking for ways to change it up!

Thanks a ton!

Hey Guys,

People are claiming that Mike Thomas will be the #1 receiver in Jacksonville this year but the projections I've seen predict only a marginal stat increase. What are the chances Thomas remains the Jags' WR1, and what will his numbers look like if he does?

Thanks!!

I'm curious about your thoughts regarding the higher floor in the (almost is it here yet)new CBA to force the Bengals, Bills, insert small market team, cheap owner, or both to force them out of the owners club or at least take advantage of alternative revenue sources i.e. name rights, etc.

I've got a feeling the the new structure will get a LOT more players cut or renogoting quicker then under the old CBA. Thoughts?

By his dynasty rankings, I see Matt is down on his boy Knowshon. I have held firm amid all these rumors and speculations because I trusted Matt's RSP assessment of Moreno. He was going to be my rock solid RB2. Unfortunately, Matt's scouting couldn't measure Moreno's heart. His dynasty value is plummeting due to speculation that Deangelo Williams is headed to Denver. Every trade offer I include him in is quickly rejected with the reponse, "I hate Moreno." Which brings me to my question.

If Williams signs somewhere other than Denver, where does that leave Moreno's dynasty stock if they sign another rb? Snelling? Signing a "lesser" rb doesn't necessarily change Moreno's heart or work ethic. Is Moreno another example of a player that never capitalizes on their talent? Should I unload him quickly and for whatever "bag of beans" I can get?

Thanks again.

Hi guys, what's up?

How much longer will D.Driver and H.Ward be relevant for fantasy? Is this the year to draft Sanders & co and smile once it's play off time?

Keep up the good work!

Truly Yours

Gents,

Love the show!!

5 year FBG subscriber!

4 pt. TD .25 PPR 12 team dynasty league champ with 1.12 rookie pick.

Thinking of trading Mr. Gore and looking for take on rookie draft value.

Other backs in stable include, Bradshaw, Lynch, Choice, Wells and Dixon.

On the WR side, thinking of moving/bundling R. Wayne/S. Moss

Other receivers in young stable include, D. Jackson, S. Smith (NYG) Tate, M. Wallace, M. Williams (TB) and Decker.

Any kind of return on value for R. Wayne or S. Moss or have they both peaked?

Would like to move up to the mid first for a shot at M. Leshoure or D. Thomas

Thanks and stay frosty!

Hey guys-

TE seems to be deeper than it has been for a long while, so assume a 12 team dynasty (initial draft) league with moderate rosters and I want to wait it out. Which pair of upside TEs are the best bets in the later portion?

Thanks!

Hi guys, i'd appreciate your opinion on keeper selection in my league. It's a 16 team keeper league with option to keep up to 3 players. (those who keep less get early draft picks. The rest of the roster is filled out redraft style. Standard scoring non-ppr with 4 pt TD pass.

Start 1 QB, RB, WB/WR Flex, WR, WR, TE

As a result of a strong draft and success on the waiver wire, i've got the following long list of players as possible candidates for keepers.

Michael Vick, Phi QB

Tony Romo, Dal QB

Maurice Jones-Drew, Jac RB

Ahmad Bradshaw, NYG RB

Ryan Mathews, SD RB

Calvin Johnson, Det WR

Brandon Lloyd, Den WR

Dez Bryant, Dal WR

Jermichael Finley, GB TE

My inclination is to keep Vick, MJD and Megatron, but keeping either Bryant or Mathews ( in hopes he is healthier this year, or plays denver 8 times:-) is also compelling.

I've listened to you guys for years and your insights are the best around, even better with the addition of Mr. Waldman. Thanks.

Tashard Choice's inability to get on the field is reportedly linked to his unwillingness to play on Special Teams. If the Cowboys feel he has the ability to play Special Teams, but not the sense of urgency, why would they keep him on the team? How can the coaching staff justify this behavior? Is this an example of a team coaching scared? Are they afraid he blows up on another team? Perhaps his perceived FF value is not grounded in reality. He seems to be an example of the classic "what if" player we all hold on to too long.

Thanks, and which of y'all suffered through the hottest temp today?

Hi guys,

Thanks for the great show as always.

Assuming Santana Moss stays in Washington do you think he makes a good WR3 and how many years do you think he still has?

If he goes elsewhere, what value do you think he has?

Thanks as always,

Grantsa4

Great job fellas

Flipping to the IDP side.

What are your top 3 backup LBs.

Who could be this years Desmond Bishop.

A player who fills in for an injury and has LB1 upside potential.

What do you make of MSW - he seems to have been totally written off in dynasty going in round 20+?

Can you put him in context with some names - who do you prefer over him and who would you take him above

What do you see stat wise from Dez Bryant this year? He looks like he could have the potential (In a number of ways) to do what Hakeem Nicks did in his second season. The big problem I see is Austin who was on a fantastic pace before Romo's injury. Is there a chance Dez is 'The Man' this year?

Thanks!

Long time subscriber, love the show, would love your opinions.

I've been in a dynasty league for several years, and year after year have the deepest team in the league. I've had a pretty dominant team the past few years, but the rest of the league has been catching up, and I don't like the feeling. I have been playing around with the idea of doing something dramatically different with my team, and would like to get your thoughts.

I am thinking about waiving some of my solid depth guys that I just don't play much...decent players go that will quickly get snatched up by other teams. I would do this in order to pick up young players with potential but that I may have to sit on for a while. I like the idea of building for the future, and this is just about the only way I can do it. (This league doesn't allow trades...I know it's crazy.)

So what do you think about cutting some guys who are solid but not spectacular contributors that I just don't start, and taking on unproven boom-or-bust guys that I'll have to wait on for a while? Some of these guys I would let go will likely be starters on teams that I will go up against, and I don't like the idea of that. But I do like the idea of finding young talent that can help me the next 5 years.

One last question...my quirky league doesn't have playoffs, and the winner is whoever is on top after Week 17. Is it just me, or is that just goofy?

Thanks again guys!

Come on, 2 hour show!!!

I'm in a 10 team dynasty league that starts 2 QB's, so they get snatched up pretty quickly. I know you're a fan of Hoyer from NE, but who are some other non-starting QB's who I should stash on my bench who you think could get traded or take over and make the leap to starting QB like Schaub, Romo and (maybe) Kolb have?

What's up Lammey you old sailor you. Stevie Johnson Buffalo WR what are all of your thoughts on him this year ppr? Also where he might shake out top 10 or 15 or top 20 or none of the above. Thanks guys great show every week keep up the good work.

Great show as always gentlemen, my question tonight is this I am in an auction draft. So when you talk about a player been a 1st round guy, what would his value translate in a 100 cap auction draft? In other words, how do you translate draft rounds into money for an auction draft? Thank you for everything you three for all of us, once again great show as always.

Mr.B

Unfortunately it looks like we won't get the deal done until the weekend, but still it's time to talk football. Here is my question. Would you rather have a dynasty team that started all studs, but had little depth. Or a team with above average starters and solid depth?

Can you guys discuss l McCoy and j Charles ppr dynasty value if there's time thx

Love the show guys; great work and your opinions are well respected. As short as possible, here it is:

10-team dynasty league, 8 round draft, 22 man rosters

My team after the 8 drops

Eli

Matty Ice

Mendenhall

SJax

Forte

Nicks

Bowe

Dez Bryant

Crabtree

Gates

Finley

Beuhler

Pitt DT/ST

KC DT/ST

I have picks 1.02 and 1.05 in a (mostly) rookie draft. 1.01 owner wants Ingram so I will get AJ at 1.02.

Do I trade Crabtree and 1.05 for Andre Johnson and 2.03? Might be a no brainer but wanted your opinions. Thanks.
