The Audible - NFL Draft Talk LIVE! 4/14/11 - 10pm ET (1 Viewer)

Good Afternoon Gentlemen,

I have to say that I love listening to this show as always, it’s the best way to past the time of doing college work in the late of night. I have a question about teams with players that have gotten in trouble with the law. Tennessee, Tampa and even the boys having a player or just a players get in trouble this off season, does this change any of their presetting draft plans or not? My last question is with Da’Quan Bowers having rumors of maybe having knee trouble for the rest of his career; will he really fall in the draft? I ask this because I seen some mock drafts with him going in the 15-20 range of this year draft. Once again thank you ahead of time for reading my questions, and please remind everyone to VOTE HILLIS!!!!!!!!

Hey guys,

I saw an interesting article on NFL.com today by Jason La Canfora arguing that the Bengal's best strategy at #4 pick might be to allow time to expire, and then pull the trigger on their guy later in the first round (to avoid having to pay top-5 money to their pick).

Is there any way the Bengals would actually do this? If they did, would the fans in Cincinnati revolt? I'm interested to hear all your thoughts on the scenario La Canfora describes in his article.

Thanks,

Mark Wimer

This is off the beaten path a bit, not a team question........ but has the recent news on Ingram's knee changed your thinking on him? Is it all just fluff and smoke about Ingram's knee being "arthritic" or is there some validity to the report? NFL Network's Mike Lombardi reported yesterday that two NFL teams in need of a RB have removed Ingram from their draft boards. I find this hard to believe and it seems more like teams are just playing games. Should dynasty owners, like myself, who expected to draft Ingram early in their rookie drafts push the panic button? Should we be looking at Williams or LeShoure over Ingram now?

Help Please!

Thanks. Carl Eller's Dead Liver

Am I crazy for thinking Josh Freeman has a legit shot at becoming an elite QB this season? I like this guy more than the Ryans and Flaccos of the world by a decent margin. What's Freeman's ceiling?

Which current backup QBs are worth a roster spot that could become quality starters if traded? And what rookie QBs do you think will be available in the 2nd or 3rd round of a rookie draft?

Thanks for the help, rock on.

How do you guys make your own dynasty rankings? I am always interested to hear a person's method to their own cheatsheets. Thanks in advance, love listening to the show each week!

Who is your favorite guy that won't be taken in most dynasty drafts but has a shot at making an immediate impact -- think Blount or Jacoby Ford or Ivory last season, guys to take a flier on late in the draft.

Guys,

Love the show!

Question: it seems to me that everyone panics when a young player gets into trouble like Dez Bryant at the Gap or Kenny "Powers" Britt pretending he's from Hazzard county. Is this a sign to sell or buy? Oddly, it seems the panic subsides and the talent outweighs the trouble. For every Vick, PAC Man, and Plaxico there seems to be a Ray Lewis, Randy Moss, and Terrell Owens.

It seems the ding especially effects draft picks. Last year it was Mike Williams.

Am I foolish for trying to buy Britt and Dez and draft Newton and Greg Little? Is it not a blessing to find out your favorite player just got arrested for exposing himself at the international house of pancakes to a waitress named Flo?

Thoughts?
