The Audible Roundtable LIVE! - 12/9/10 - 10pm ET (1 Viewer)

It's starting to feel a lot like PLAYOFFS!

a.) Who do you see being the better start between Eli Manning (vs. Vikings) and Matt Ryan (vs. Panthers)?

b.) How do you feel about Ed Dickson this week against Houston? Is he a better play then someone like Greg Olsen or Jimmy Graham?

Thanks in advance.

Which WW darling is the best start this week: Tashard Choice vs. Eagles, James Starks vs. Lions or Anthony Dixon vs. Seahawks?

I'll hang up and listen.

Im sure you guys will talk about it, but wanted to get your thoughts on James Starks. What did you think of his performance this past weekend and his dynasty value going forward?

And you guys have talked a lot about the WR's that will be in the upcoming NFL draft, I was wondering if you could touch on some of the running backs coming out that might make an impact next year?

Can Tennessee win with their current coach and roster; not in a hypothetical sense but in a real sense? Has Fischer lost the team? Has the team taken sides in regards to the coach vs. VY? What can we reasonably expect from the Titans in regards to fantasy value for the rest of the season and does your crystal ball see good value for next year?

Thanks

Hey Guys,

What do you think of Earl Bennett? Is his emergence a function of the Bears becoming more balanced on offense? Is Cutler getting rid of the ball sooner and Knox's routes just take too long? Do you think he's good for 12+ points per week in PPR leagues during the weeks 14-16 fantasy playoffs?

Thanks!

What's up fellas!

God help me for saying this, but I've watched Jimmy Clausen the past few games and it looks like he's improving to me. Against CLE two weeks ago he made a couple of nice decisions on the move, showing patience, making the LBs decide bwtween him and the dumpoff pass to the RB... and then last week vs. SEA I watched him pull the trigger on some back-shoulder sideline throws that exhibited decision and accuracy. Now, I didn't like Clausen as a draft pick and I thought the Panthers should have stuck with Moore earlier in the season, but now Jimmy doesn't seem to suck as much as I thought. In your analyses, do you think he's coming around as a player? He's got Atlanta and Arizona these next two weeks and some of us in the playoffs have Steve Smith getting splinters on the bench. Is Stevie a "what-the-heck flex" this week... or more of a WTF-Flex?

Thanks,

BB

Greetings gentlemen, I'd like to hear you discuss the Cowboys backfield a little bit. Looking over the schedule, the Cowboys host Philly, host Washington, and travel to Arizona for weeks 14-16. How do you project the touch distribution going forward? I'm sitting on both Felix and Choice in a ppr league, so leaning towards starting Felix given his involvement in the passing game. Do you see Choice as anything more than a flex play going forward? It seems like either guy might be an important piece to a championship team with the schedule and opportunity. Thanks for all your hard work getting us to the playoffs!

Please talk about potential defenses for weeks 15 & 16

Romo?

Stafford?

Will they return for weeks 15 or 16?

week 14, Big Ben , John Kitna good plays?

Hakeem Nicks if you have any further insight whether he will play

Starks or Choice? Who do you like better down the stretch

Britt or Moss? who will be the odd man out?

New Orleans backfield situation going forward with healthy Thomas, Bush, Jones and last but not least Ivory, RBBC or will Ivory remain a work horse

Quick question.

PPR league playing one RB + Flex, have CJ, Hillis and McCoy. CJ and Hillis killed me last week and lead me to my first loss in weeks, knocking me out of the top spots to start the playoffs while McCoy sat on my bench with 30 points. I really need two of these guys to perform for me this week, and frankly, I'm a little dubious on CJ, although he does have a sweet matchup. Thoughts?

PPR WDIS:

Michael Bush vs JAX

Ladanian vs MIA

Are you guys worried about LT's production going forward based on how well Greene performed on Monday Night vs. NE? Do you think Bush becomes the late-season battering ram for the Raidahs?

thnx

Early now, on time then....

Shouldn't Peyton be penalized for making too much of a production about snapping the ball? There's gamesmanship and then there's too much

Would like to hear you guys talk about dealing with this time of year, especially with wide receivers. Listening to the preview show, there are so many guys who seemed like they'd be good plays with good match ups in the play offs who are questionable for one reason or another now. More teams are starting to run more, if they still rely on the pass they probably spread the ball around. You've got Oakland vs Jax, two teams that give up the passing yards, but clearly want to run. The Bengals, the Bills, etc might be grounded by blizzard this week. A bunch of teams like the Redskins appear to have closed up shop for the season. Anthony Armstrong, the 32nd ranked (both Bloom and Dodds) wasn't even mentioned in the preview. I point that out not as criticism, but to highlight how bad it is. Even in a deeper league (12 team 3wr + flex) with injuries, he isnt someone I feel good about trusting my season to. But where would you look to find someone?

Great show guys, keep up the great work. I heard you call Seyi Ajirotutu a great WTHF this week on the preview show, but would you give him the start over a guy like H. Ward? I can see Ward as the safer bet, but Seyi could be a "swing for the fences" type of play.

Also, do you consider your starting lineup or your opponents' when selecting your D for the week? I've got AJ, my opponent has Schaub. I have BAL D, but NO, SF and MIN are available. I love the bonus for INTs against Schaub, but HOU can put up pts. Thanks for the help.

Rex Ryan buried a football to get rid of the stink of that awful MNF effort (mayhaps the defense would have been included if I had done it but...) - in your sports and/or team work based experiance what's the oddest motivational tool a leader or coach has used to try and motivate you?

I'm sure for Cec it involved Maiden.......

In a PPR format, is Hightower the way to go as a #3/flex over either "The Law Firm" or Danny Woodhead? Hightower has the matchup advantage and FBG's have Hightower higher on their ppr rankings than both NE RBs, but I am afraid the roles between he and Wells reverse this week.

As far as NE, doesnt this matchup with Minny benefit Woodhead's style more than Green-Ellis'?

Thanks!

The Titans have had (arguably) the best DL and OL coaches in the NFL for a long time.

I'd be curious where the discussion goes from there.

Re-Fisher's success due to them?, Johnson's, Young +KC's "hours" to throw the ball, defense always a force...or maybe how long til these two are a head coach like Tice N Madden etc or a DC/OC? What's an OL coach gotta do to get promoted?

Bills sold many home games to Toronto. They do very well there. This week they can't sell out.

I've always felt Buffalo had some great fans and great support just not enough people. It's not just old Wilson affected. Ocho once tweeted teasing TO about his jersey sales while there so without looking up sales #s let's assume they stunk. It is beyond cold up there in December and it's an outdoor stadium where people sit with 50k layers on and still put 2-3 blankets on top of them and drink tons of coffee or hot chocolate. If there's a "too much" "you gotta support the team" example, it's gotta be those people braving the cold to watch a perennial loser.

So my Q is when does the NFL step in and say "look it's time to move the franchise"? I've heard (sad but true) that some think we're waiting for Wilson to pass away but that's like a deceptive legacy angle to his family and his "name". What gives in Buff?

FYI Lions sold out this week.

Pats play @Bears this week. Hard to say which one is a better bet for yardage, kinda depends on both game plans. That being said I suspect the Bears will be susceptible to the run at the goal line, which should tip the scales towards BJGE.

What do you think of Michael Bush, especially if the current weather report of rain and winds holds true? Doesn't this lend itself to Bush being the more consistent runningback over McFadden? James Starks over Bush? Torain over both them?

How about Kitna without Dez Bryant and with Parker and Samuel back? Can he beat the blitz as well as Romo has in the past with that offensive line? Sam Hurd and Ogletree can make hot read catch and runs successfully? Big Ben historically not great against Cinci and sloppy conditions, would Kitna be better than him here?

Percy Harvin the most likely Minnesota receiver to have consistent success getting open?

Thanks! Love the show.

Listening now. BTW one of the best montage style radio openings i've ever heard in that intro!

Dave from Irelands call in question was pretty good. Better than the ones I've heard before... It usually seams the lowest common denominator/mouth breather on the call ins is pretty high.
