Pretty sure Rodgers is an aspiring football tv personality of some kind. So basically, he'll end up at whatever local TV affiliate decides to take a shot on aaron Rodgers' sort of famous brother.

Yes robbie is really creepy. He and I have the same job. I was a "competitive swimmer" from ages 8-13. Is he even good looking? Hes obviously in good shape and has a fancy hairdo, but that beak of his is rough.  Looks like sam the eagle from the muppets
No, I don't think he's good-looking at all.  Really the only one of the final four who was good-looking was Luke.

Bachelor in Paradise can't get here soon enough.  This season has been a snooze.

So after she chooses Jordan Rodgers, what's the over/under on months until she ditches him for another bigger better athlete/celebrity she meets while dating him?

I'm going with 3 months tops.

My lady friend agrees.  Thought chase was the only one of the final three they was legitimately attractive. Thought Luke was good looking too.

Poor Chase.  His next GF will have to jump through some major hoops to gain his trust and/or to pry those 3 famous, yet overrated, words from him.

It seems the narrative, at least for JoJo, is the last few remaining guys have to say "I love you" or she's cutting you from the roster (ask Luke).  Then Chase says it and feels good about things.. and JoJo is all "yeah... thanks but I don't feel the same way."

Chase:        :hot:      then why give me a fantasy suite card?!?  JoJo: Chase, wait...

Who goes to the fantasy suite then gets booted before the night ends?   :lmao:   poor Chase.

Well, I guess that's the "reality" part of the show. It's all a sham, and I can't stop watching.

Hindsight is 20/20 and all, but he had runway to fire at least one zinger at her in my book for doing that to him.

I mean, the bar to bigger/better athlete is active status, no?

...after Chad left, right? Cannot wait for them to open the crate for him on BIP.

Exactly.  After Chad left the only excitement was to see how far the midget would go (longer than expected) and how painfully embarrassing his exit would be (gloriously moreso than expected).

Oof.  Good God.  Watching last night's episode.  JoJo's upspeak style of talk is driving me effing insane.  She's annoying the crap out of me.

This show is just hilarious. I can't watch it in full but each time I flip over, it's always  . "I don't want the same thing happen to you that happened to me." Uh. Well it sort of has, no? :lmao:   Next week: I don't know, I don't know!! Well, you have 2 hours to decide on your love of your life so get to it! Just hilarious ####.

Chad at the men tell all last night.  He's either still acting (my thoughts) or he is truly bat#### crazy (my wife's thoughts).

Alex the mini-marine is still a d-bag.  The one guy nailed it when he said Alex had the classic Napoleon complex and needed conflict to feel comfortable.  He was all about confronting Chad but when Chad was tossed from the lineup, Alex turned his schtick onto Derrick.

Bachelor in Paradise should be good tv.  Although, I can't believe that crying chick is on there again (the brunette?).  And those twins.   :yucky:

Chad got the entire first hour of the show last night.  Then continued to get it in much of the second hour.  I don't think ABC will want to have Chad leave paradise too soon.

And in the previous Harrison says "this is paradise and you've made it a hell", in reference to Chad.  Well, what did you want or expect Chris?  Release the hounds of hell!

Yeah, they're really into each other.  Yeah.  Uh huh.

"Breakup" announced within a month.
I was thinking the same thing, K4.

Okay, so I was in Europe for the past 17 days (surprisingly we were not attacked or anything).  We were caught up when we left.  So . . . is there any reason for me to watch the episodes that aired while we were away, plus tonight's?  (Everything was DVRed.)  The SO will want to watch it all but now that I know that Jordan "won" - she does not - I can skip it unless there's some reason to sit through it all.

I actually fast-forwarded through all of tonight's episode just to get to the proposals, so I'm probably not the best person to weigh in on this.  I didn't feel like I missed anything in doing so, though.  Welcome home.  Glad you didn't get blowed up or nothin'.

Jordan's non-answer to the question about Aaron was the worst.
I think asking him again after he, his mom, his brother and everyone else told them he doesn't want to talk about it is worse. How many ways can the guy nicely say I don't want to discuss this?

No problem. Don't sign up for a reality tv show.

Yeah, Jordan just always sounds like he's searching for what he knows is the "right" thing to say. Something about his delivery.

Also love him bragging about the ring that he didn't even pay for.

Hope they don't ruin paradise with too much Chad. That show is good enough without him.

Jordan, every time he is asked a tough question, finds a way to pause.  He takes a drink, or drops an um, or whatever.  That is why he seems insincere.  He is literally thinking his answer out too much, which implies he isn't being heartfelt and truthful.  He is considering other factors.

Also, #TeamChad.  Looking forward towards tonight.

Chris Harrison:  Tonight, we're going to get to the bottom of the rift between Jordan and his brother, Aaron Rodgers.

"Jordan, how are things with your brother, Aaron?  Have things gotten better after all this?  Is he coming to the wedding?"

Jordan  :  "JoJo and I bought a house in Dallas, and we're picking out furniture.  We're excited about that."

Harrison:  "Don't forget folks, the new season of Bachelor in Paradise starts tomorrow night.. and you won't want to miss the first episode."

:lmao: such a joke

Jordan trying to explain why he didn't ask for her dad's blessing was awkward.  But he was almost there at one point.  She was just about to buy it, then he stumbled over it confusing her more.

His phone call to her parents just seemed off.  He didn't apologize for not asking in person, just asked "do I have your blessing or what?"...  "Sure! yes, we love you!"   <_<

He sounded like George Costanza when he was battling Loyd Braun in the garage selling computers.  "Hello, Mr. Fletcher?  Do you want to give me your blessing?  Yes?  Great, see you at the wedding!"

It was funny that she had her mind made up walking out the door to the beach, then she read Jordan's note where he checked the box of asking her parents.  She was settling for Robbie until then.  She was into Jordan the whole season.  She got defensive for him when her parents said they recommended Robbie.  Jordan is just a smooth (well, not so smooth) talker and knows how to talk his way around things.  Once the newness wears off, he'll bail on her.

Jordan is obviously a giant fame whore, but robbie is such a tool that he actually had me rooting for jordan.

We get it dude...you fell in love with her after 3 fancy made for tv dates. Just shut up about it already.  I can't imagine how bad this guy's actual job that he needs to he listed as "former competitive swimmer". It's not even "former olympic swimmer".

I guess I qualify for that job as well. At one point, I held the 8 and under record for the 25 meter breastfeeding stroke at my local swim club.

I think she just couldn't resist the celebrity life. Every other factor was pointing to Robbie, which is why she "wanted" to pick him, but the starf$%#er inside her just couldn't resist.

She wants to move her way up from failed NFL QB to starting NFL QB, or at the very least an actor.

Yup, she will do her best to try and facilitate a Rodgers family reunion. She has visions of being bff's with future sister in law olivia mund.

Of course, none of this will happen once Rodgers realizes he wants to use his newfound celebrity to just crush strange every weekend

haha, thought the same thing. They didn't have her say one word either.
That part was so funny and awkward.

Get comment from mom. Get comment from dad. Get comment from brothers. Awkwardly show sis for 2 seconds and then move on.

She even hinted to that in her comments about who to choose.  Something about if she married Robby, she'd always wonder about missing "that other type of life."  Not Jordan himself, but the lifestyle.

She just sat there... probably seething that JoJo (the princess!), once again, gets ALL the attention.  She'd like a shot at any of those guys... even the mini-marine. eff'n JoJo...

I never really watched this year but tuned it a bit last night to see JoJo''s jojos on the beach.  Very nice!  Is the sister good looking I take it?
