Completely disagree. I can't get past the teeth and weird bows in the legs. The professional make up and hair does help a bit. I thought the Lesley girl would have been a much much better choice.

Which raises the next, more important, question - will a FBG be making an appearance on this special journey?

How similar is Zak in real life to how he appears on the show.They are my wife's cousins. No tv appearances happening.So...wasn't there a FBG who said Zak was his brother in law? Well, now Zak made it to final 4 and family visits and this is public knowledge. Which raises the next, more important, question - will a FBG be making an appearance on this special journey?
FWIW, he's the only guy who is remotely interesting left on the show, and has been since she cut Juan Pablo. The rest are sticks in the mud.

Second, Completely agree...The main reason I watch Bachelor/ette is as the set-up for Bachelor Pad. After last season's fantastic ending, why they wouldn't do another season is beyond me...I guess it's not scripted enough for the producers.

As I said earlier in the thread, the producers add a bit of schtick, but he's one that would be totally okay with doing the crazy stuff...i.e. naked on the balcony, shirtless intro, etc. Definitely a free spirit as the show portrays. I haven't reconciled everything I hear and see. Ibiza partying/naked stuff versus thinking about being a Catholic priest/etc, but I guess being all over the place is kinda part of being a free spirit. He's very personable and friendly. He got along with most of the cast (Juan Pablo was his closest cast friend), which shows by not being involved in the drama.
I guess the next bachelor is down to Drew and him. I think he'd make a good bachelor, but I can see how this year's show is horrid and that they may go outside the cast.

I thought that Zack was a complete joke at first, but his ability to make her laugh during the art lessons is a huge factor in her decision to keep him around. You can never underestimate the ability to make a girl laugh during any setting and he's got that ability in droves. The other guys are complete zeros in personality. Brooks may be the a panty pudding maker but he's about as exciting as an Iowa cornfield.

Zak is the only one that could make a good (i.e., not Ben- or Sean-esque) bachelor. Could be a fun season.
Apparently, I find Iowa cornfields very exciting.
Drew looks just like a guy I dated about ten years ago.
Definitely gay, though.Also, it's nutty to think Desiree isn't attractive. I think she's stunning but did like her better before they tarted her up this season, though.

I've seen the seasons w/Ashley, Emily, and this season, along with Brad, Ben, and Sean for the Bachelor. I'd put Ashley a small notch ahead of Desiree.

Well, again...I think you'd be in the minority with that opinion. Not only is Dez more attractive than Ashely (and you talk about weird, misshaped bodies) but she has a much better personality and demeanor. At least from what I can tell through the TV.

About 3 weeks ago I was out at a downtown bar/restaurant (D'town Milwaukee) and there was a girl there I SWORE was Ashley Hebert. For about 20 minutes I kept looking at her because she looked so familiar, but I couldn't pinpoint where I knew her from and then all of the sudden it hit me. I approached her with Ashley pic up on my phone and asked if she knew that woman. She laughed and said I wasn't the first to ask..but, confirmed it wasn't her. Absolute spitting image. If she wouldn't have shown me her driver's license as proof I would've thought she was lieing to me.

both Ashley and Dez are bow-legged and struggle to walk in heels. both are petite, though Dez is taller.

These two posts sum up what I was going to say. For a while now, all signs have pointed to Brooks as being the one that Des picks. But I think what shakes out now is that Brooks bails on Des due to "not being ready to commit," (or some BS like that) before ending up as the next Bachelor. After they showed Des basically saying that she was in love with Brooks this week, that especially seals the deal that he doesn't end up with her IMO.
Oh, not sure why but my gut feeling is that Des then ends up with Chris. I agree with others that Drew is not being true to his sexuality, and that Brooks/Chris are a bit of a bore. Zak's far and away the most entertaining, but I don't think Des and chicks in general pick the "funny guy" over the others.
