I think it's all staged, but were this for real, I'd say that guy molested his sister at some point. No question in my mind.

Indeed. Would rather have seen her or Lesley (or Ashlee who I guess didn't get the invite to Portugal) than Desiree.

Last night was the most boring episode I've ever seen, even with Jackie showing up.

Drew/Brooks/Chris are going to come out of the closet here at some point - right?

I'm not too good of an evaluator of male attractiveness, but why does Dez think Chris is good looking? He's kind of a goober.

Guys like Juan Pablo make me touch myself, but Mihcael and Chris do nothing for me.

 
Which was worse - Micheal raiding Don Johnson's wardrobe from Miami Vice, Brook's sweater from the Earnie And Bert collection, or the popped collar/rolled up sleeves tweed blazer (complete with elbow patches) Chris sported at the rose ceremony?

Wait - I need to come out of the closet at some point here, right?

I got that vibe as well from their interactions, facial expressions, the way she looks at him, and how he sometimes avoids looking at her, on her own since 18, etc....glad I'm not the only one who thought this, thought maybe my perp radar was going a little overboard or something....it definatley feels like there is some sort of dysfunctional history bewteen the two that is there but she actually seems ok with.....

There's no doubt about it.

even his 'over-protectiveness' seems more like a 'dont touch my property' type of thing.

He's a definite creep and has at MINIMUM tugged it to thoughts of his sister. More likely, he was caught sniffing her boy-cuts... Good shot at some serious touching.

He ain't right

Zak was the only remaining reason to watch this bore of a show, so this is now a brutal final three IMO. Brooks is a bore, but he'll bail in the next episode as "not ready to commit" only to become the next Bachelor. By default, Chris will "win" as there's no possible way a gay guy (Drew) is the final one standing, is there?

Yeah, that Jeff guy was about as straight as a rainbow doing disco on roller skates. This Drew guy is even gayer than that. You see his dad? The gay apple don't fall too far from the gay tree.

Oh, I don't think Chris is gay, though his relationship with his parents is a little....awkward. And I don't think Brooks is gay, just a complete bore and really, could you marry into a family that doesn't drink for religious reasons? I could not. Brooks is better looking than Chris and Drew. Drew is better looking than Chris, but come on, man...retune your gaydar. Chris don't want Dez, he wants ****.

Oh...he bought the ring in Atlantic City. No heirloom. Probably a fake ring the show paid for. It's in the deleted scenes online.

A general comment: Are we really supposed to buy the "This didn't work out, I'll never find love and always be alone" pity party 70% of the cast offs throw in their exit interviews? I find it hard to believe most of these folks have a hard time hooking up - I mean, if all else fails the FFA idating thread seems to be running a high success rate. Don't these people have internet?

I came around full circle on Zack. To the point where he was the only one I kinda liked/would enjoy getting a beer with. Seems funny. Spontaneous funny, and that ain't always easy to pull off. If I had to place a bet, I'd put some money on him being the next Bachelor. If we're not ready for a black bachelor, we're not ready for a gay one. Brooks is too boring. Chris? Meh.

FWIW, I've got no info on the Bachelor situation.

If you want to get a beer with him, you'll have to fight off droves of young ladies to get to him. His family says he's mobbed everywhere.

 
James and Mikey the only 2 guys with a penis and functioning balls.

Embarrassing to see all these guys put on this ##### facade like they'd take bullets for this girl they knew for a few weeks. 110% dedicated to her.

This show is EVERYTHING that's wrong with the male gender in 2013.

James never quite explained it right. Just say: "If it were my choice, I'd be with Des right now. But the house was full of guys, and it was her choice which one she wanted. We were frustrated over her strong connection with Brooks, who seemed like the polar opposite of us. So we were just consoling each other that hey, if she doesn't pick us we'll move on. I was there for Des. I would have gotten on one knee for Des. She didn't want me." The women in the audience aww and all is forgiven.

 
I hope 2 of the remaining guys reveal that they're gay for each other. Oh hell, make it that all 3 caught the gay for each other.

I still think that the "shocker" that they keep referencing is that Brooks bails on Des due to the fact that he's "not ready to commit." (i.e. The Bachelor promised him the next gig and he jumped at the opportunity)

If that doesn't happen, then it's a tough call between Zak and Juan Pablo.

- Zak: At least a personality that has life and is funny, and would actually make the next season somewhat interesting outside of watching the show for all the hung-up-on-a-guy-I-hardly-know drama.

- Whoooan Pablo: I think he'd be about as boring of a Bachelor as there is though the female population, my wife included, seems to salivate over his looks and accent.

Vegas Odds:

Whoooan Pablo - 3.5:1 (they let him play up his daugther, how he just wants to find love, and how it's so hard to date...that put him in the lead)

Brooks - 4:1 (discounted due to the possibility that he actually ends up with Des)

Zak - 5:1 (the funny guy rarely wins, this might be another example)

Nah. He liked her, but not THAT much. The songs are somewhat show schtick. His siblings and him do a lot of karaoke so it's a natural gig.

I don't think Juan Pablo is in the running for the next bachelor.

Drew or Zak. Brooks is not going to be available.

Was visiting my parents a few weeks ago and my mom was watching the show. I got sucked back in. :bag:

Was intrigued by the prospect of the one guy bailing and then she doesn't pick anyone. I hate myself.

Ok, this is so scripted. No way would Dez say "if Brookes proposes to me today I would say yes" just moments before Brookes says uh, you're not the one for me. :cry:

Especially if they do wind up together in the end. I mean Brookes told Chris that even with more time, it's not gonna happen. :excited: :rolleyes: The dude is HOT and is only 28. WTH settle for her with her nutjob of a fam we saw on the bachelor with Sean. :crazy:

But like a soap opera, you are drawn to watch the sob :cry: and :tfp: :popcorn: .

oh my jesus, this Brooks guy is the most boring person in the history of television. Somebody put an end to this NOW. Awful. WHY was that segment so LONG? I've had Baptist Church sermons that seemed shorter than this. Root canals that hurt less. Audits that were less painful.

And that hair, man..my god, it looks like he has his hand on a gizmo from the Sharper Image.
