I personally don't care if the NFL Network does 24/7 coverage of the Brett Favre retirement. I am not neccessarily a fan or a hater of Favre. I do think he had an incredible career.

I know there has been a few posts about the excessive coverage but if you are looking for something entertaining, if you get a chance to see the program Steve Sabol put together with a round table discussion with Favre's backups it is worth checking out. Ty Detmer, Doug Pederson, Mark Brunell and Matt Hasselbeck sharing stories about their time backing up Favre. Some funny stuff worth watching.

peterson has the distinction of backing up both favre and marino. It would be interesting to hear his comparison of the two QBs.

While hunting:

Favre: "Hey who brought the dogs, that's a good idea!"

Brunell: "That's a deer."

Detmer: "I always let Brett walk in front of me when we went hunting."

Brunell: "He shoots like he throws a football." (mimics shooting randomly)
