The Cincy-Dayton-Columbus League is underway (2 Viewers)

Your timeliness is always appreciated. I am a little concerned with your ability to snipe me on waiver wire. Please PM as to how the hell that works on yahoo. It seems like you were able to get 3-4 guys before I got one. I need help.
Hmm interesting. I wouldn't call it timely, my team was pretty bad so I was constantly filtering through guys. I think the way we had it set up last year, was reverse waiver order based on standings (which I'd like to change this year), so whoever was last in the standings got #1 that week. Maybe that's why I got more players.

What was weird was that people higher in the order seemed to be able to get multiple players prior to the next person ...I could be wrong, but it sure seemed like it.

Agree with a switch to ESPN if possible. Online is fine but I need to know with as much notice as possible to arrange the time.

Sorry guys. I don't care enough about fantasy football to do a league without a live draft.

See you next year.

Well gee. If Shuke doesn't play, I mean how can the play go on???

We need to dance!!!

ETA: I'm not sure what I mean, but its in a confrontational new york city musical sort of way

get a group of cincy guys to show up on shuke's doorstep tonight with tap shoes and proceed to circle him menacingly while snapping?

Let's just draft here on the message board or use the yahoo draft room this year. We can live draft next year with a better plan. This way we can keep the league alive.
Trogg's probably right.
How are you guys with this? I haven't heard back from CJ* and Bonzai yet and I don't know about Patriot John's availability for an internet draft. We could have 3 spots open for a 12 team - but could always expand if people are open to it.

Can we get everyone to let us know in here on wanting to play via internet draft? Sounds like we have so far:

- Cheese

- Trogg

- Binky (can still team up with Doowain or have separate teams based on league need)

- Peyton Marino
Adding Cacksman and Big John.

Odin?

Guster?

Others?

See post # 907.

I'm fine with online assuming we can get to 12.
Great! Agree on a minimum of 12 here.

I think we have Flap too.

Current line up - 9 right now with

- Cheese

- Trogg

- Binky

- Doowain

- Peyton Marino

- Cacksman

- Big John

- Odin

- Flap (?)

Some of us could still meet up on the night of the draft for shenanigans.

ETA: Maybe if we can do this, it will get Shuke to pull his panties out of his butt and re-join the fun.

Flap is confirmed. Just need 3 more - haven't heard back from Guster, CJ*, FDAS, or Wampus on the remote online draft option.

How does everyone feel about a slow draft here vs. getting everyone together at one time at Yahoo?

I enjoy the slow draft message board. Great schtick opportunities. Shuke can post some vines.

I'd prefer we pick a night and get it done, but if we can;t hammer something out I'm open to a slow draft.

The other issue is $$$$. Without a centralized draft, no easy way to collect entry fees. Sure we can paypal someone, but without everyone ponying up that night we run a risk.

Who's running it? Can't be any worse than Tim but somebody definitely needs to take the reigns and be around.

Cheese is the commissioner. I told him I would volunteer to try and pull the guys together for the draft.

Leaguesafe. Everyone can see everyone that has paid/hasn't paid. Easy.

Unless you all tell me different it looks like we take the year off for the Dayton-Cincy league this year.

Thanks to all that have been responsive and trying to make it work this year. Hope to get this back going next year.

I would probably be willing to do a live draft if in Cincinnati. I definitely wouldn't do if remote etc.

If you can do make it work this year great if not PM me if needed another next year.
