HBO was showing it tonight so I DVR'd it for later. what's so bad about it?
Just overall horrible. No character development. Not much of a plot. It just kind of went no where. Lots of open questions when the movie was over.
I thought Javier Bardem was funny with his Zoolander impersonation in the movie.

Smoking bod, but the face of The Joker.Cameron Diaz looked hot. So it did have that going for it. Too bad it was a stunt girl doing the splits.

Glad Im not the only one who thought this was piss poor. Great cast, Director, writer and interesting plot on paper. One of the worst movies I've seen in years. The dialogue was downright awful. Granted, I tuned out 40 mins in bc I couldn't stomach someone saying "Hey Counselor" one more time.

I liked it. I won't watch it again, not yet.
I am reading reviews of it, though, over at Metacritic, alternating between the most-favorable and least-favorable reviews. Plenty of each available.
Again, I liked it -- but that's probably the last opinion Ridley Scott and Cormac McCarthy were hoping for. This is a movie to be either embraced or shunned as (either) "a stunning tour de force" or "a steaming pile of excrement".

Just watched this. Though I needed to watch it twice to really understand everything, including the dialogue. Strong accents and lots of mumbling. I thought a very well-developed script despite the bad reviews. Sometimes difficult to follow, but I appreciate that element of film making. Much different from the spoon-fed drivel that normally comes out of Hollywood.
McCarthy doesn't really write in a style that lends itself well to movies. Very abbreviated...not very thoughtful or verbose.

Saw this a week ago. So bad, didn't even go to bump the thread here when I watched it. Typical great cast horrible movie money-grab.
That car scene though with Diaz - hawt.
