I find it funny people think the dude walking down the street has a better chance then Hall.. Hey I want to be that dude..

what about next yr.... I'm sure Denver has some "Code of Conduct" clause in Henry's contract.... I think have another team in Turner The Burner bid.

Or Shanny realizes why he never pays for big dollar free agent running backs and drafts his RB of the future in the fourth.

Eveyone knew that Henry had a past with drugs.... Turner is more talented and has no history of problems. Besides; its not Shanny's money in the 1st place.. what does he care how much a guy gets paid. Turner is a perfect fit in that system, perfect size and running style.

Good point, I guess I worded that wrong.

do you really think SD would deal a missing piece to their most competitive division rival?

Am I missing something about Sapp? I dont really understand all the love. His stats through his 5 year career:37 rushes 189 yards 1 TD14 catches 84 yards 0 TDsThats in 5 years. I just dont see him turning into a 15-20 carry/game back.Admittedly I dont know much about the guy though.I think Young will be the main guy, but most likely more of an RBBC than if Henry was around.
Feel like posting Rueben Droughns numbers from Detroit for comparison?
If Sapp was starter material why would Shanny bother with Mike Bell, Savin Young, Garrison Hearst, Ron Dayne, Tatum Bell, Quentin Griffin, Cedic Cobbs, and Damien Nash all of whom have gotten better opportunities than Sapp has during his time with the club.
If he weren't any good why would he be here when Griffin, Cobbs, Nash, Dayne, Bell, Hearst are all gone? I don't think anyone is going nuts over Sapp and chances are he won't amount to much but you never know with Shanny....

anyone mention Dillon yet? If there's any opportunity which could convince dillon to come out of retirement, it isn't Tampa, it isn't GB, could it be the Broncos?

Tough to compare Droughns to Sapp. Droughns barely got a chance to show his stuff -- he spent his rookie year on IR and then only got to play in 3 games his second year before Detroit gave up on him.
He also spent 2 years in Denver doing nothing before he got his shot. Denver is in some sort of space time continuum stuff when it comes to RBs. Dismissing anyone because of previous stats isn't smaat.

Turner will be a free agent. Only thing the Chargers could do is Tag him, which is only hurting themselves.

Kind of cruel if you know, claim ignorance if you don't.

They can't even do that... Turner is an UFA next year (4th year in the league)... he goes where he wants.
Riffraff meant unless they hit him with the franchise tag. If they do that, then no, Turner doesn't go where he wants. He does, however, join Tomlinson as one of the 5 highest paid RBs in the NFL.

Pat Kirwan speculated on Sirius today that Shanahan should be calling Dillon and looking to acquire a RB via trade. he mentioned Mewelde Moore, and possibly someone from the raiders, and asked who Denver has dealt with in the past. I say the team Denver has traded with quite a bit recently is Washington - could Betts be in play here?I know that trades happen infrequently, especially during the season, but this has to be considered a possibility, IMO.However, if I were a betting man, I'd bet on a RBBC between SYoung and MBell, neither of which having top 20 value moving forward.

My understanding is they can't even Franchise Tag him... hes in that 4th year player clause which means the player is free to become an UFA if he isn't signed to a contract.

I am not aware of any such clause. Moot point because they aren't going to franchise him.

This is my guess as well. I would think Dillon would at least be discussed.
