I think I associate Feist's 1 2 3 4 with these commercials the most. Not sure when it was playing (NFL maybe?), but it was on constantly at that time.

Thanks. Can be said it works the other way around too - making the Madden soundtrack is nice but an ipod commercial is a huge boost for a band.

On a related note, why haven't we had a goonsquad appearance in this thread? Should we send out an APB?

The "saved Apple" comment in the title should have been like catnip (goonnip?) to him.

It takes time to draft a post of pure hyperbole.

Don't forget this one, although it was for a Mac.

 In the past 10 years, my wife has requested 2 songs (note songs, not albums).

This one and 1234.

She's really into music. Which is awesome since I play the guitar and the only comments I get are, "you are playing too loud, the kids are asleep." :lmao: I'M A FREAKING ARTIST, WIFE!!! THE KIDS CAN SLEEP WHEN THEIR DEAD!!!

The one that stood out to me was Music is My Hot, Hot Sex by CSS... I think that was the song they used when the touch screen was still so new.

"My music is where I'd like you to touch..."

hmmm... would've sworn that Kings of Leon's Molly's Chambers was one of these. definitely in a commercial... maybe for VW?

and yeah- the Feist and Wolfmother tunes are permanently linked with it for me.
