The new **L Robinson** hype train (1 Viewer)

DansRams

Footballguy
L Robinson has had the perfect storm hit that allow's dynasty owners (and redraft for that matter) to pick up a talented young WR with a devoping stud QB.

If you look at the first couple of games last year, prior to his injury, he looked very good....and that was without a decent QB.

He then suffers another injury this year so nobody get's to see what he looks like with a very good QB.

Injuries - now this is obviously the concern. The bad news is he has had consistent issues. The good news is that none of his injuries should have a long term impact.

That is the perfect storm that has kept this potential hidden.

Now...looking forward

LRob is healthy!!

Bradford has already made less talented wr's look like soloid fantasy wr's. I wouldn't suggest seeing if he and Robinson can sync up now that Robinson is healthy, without having him on your roster.

He is my prediction for next weeks hot #1 WW pick up after a 6/90/1 week as Bradfords favorite and only downfield threat. Get him now before the hype.

 Hoping to hear others' views. The Shark Pool has been money on these kinds of predictions this year.

Robinson is worth a roster spot. He is a good WR but has never stayed healthy. I owned him for a couple of weeks last season. I do not think I am going down that road again.

If Chris Brown and Matthew Stafford could have a child together, I would think he would be very much like L Robinson.

I will admit he did look much better last game...just not sure he is going to be a fantasy factor
He looked better, but the bye week appears to have really helped and the upside is too much to ignore.

"""Offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur indicated that Laurent Robinson is finally get back into peak form at the mid-point of the season.

"I think the bye week has helped him," said Shurmur. "Getting through training camp and the first part of the season, he was struggling a little bit. But he's done a good job this week and looks good." Keep the brittle Robinson on your watch list in case he sees an uptick in targets this week. If he stays healthy, he has the talent to emerge as the Rams' top receiver down the stretch.

""""

Sorry, but that train has derailed, and come to a screeching halt so many times, I don't want to ride. I'll try some others. Thanks - enjoy the ride...it's more like a roller coaster than a train. :bye:

if your pickin up a rams wr with injury history.......id much rather take a flier on danario
If you can afford 2 roster spots in dynasty I think you ought to have both. One of them has a very decent shot at being a very good fanatsy option. That said...LRob breaks out THIS week. I'll be sure to wave to you as the train leaves the station.

This is not a passenger train.
You are right...this is a hawk train...passengers and guppies aren't going to get(it) a ticket
Based on your moniker I can tell that something perhaps has clouded your better judgement, and it wasn't the weather.
I am a fan of my fantasy team well before I am a Rams fan. My judgement is never clouded due to that. You on the other hand have not excuse other than being a guppy  No ticket for you guppy!

Actually I'm in 1st or 2nd in all 3 leagues I'm in (Dynasty, redraft and keeper)..26-8 combined record...but thanks for taking an interest

Not the 32 team league where you are looking up at me in the standings :woot:...unless thats a different DansRams, in which case I stand corrected....as for your LRobinson call, you might be right...but if he does "blow up", I'd sell him as quick as I could. The guy is brittle.

Well somebody is probably going to step up for this team...if he costs you nothing, there's no harm in gambling on Robinson.

Must be a different DansRams..I'm only in 12 teamers.I do agree on the "if he blows up", sell. Selling high to me is the reason for searching for the buy low potential break outs like LRob.

I picked him up last year and loved the few good games he gave me. Assuming he's past his injury woes (again), I think he's a solid WR3 with great upside (and has a decent schedule). Danario probably needs more time (like not this season) before he's becomes their top target.

I like this is coming from a Rams fan.

Robinson's a terrific WR, his talent has always been impeded by injuries, everyone knows this.

And someone has to break out for the Rams, they have to throw to someone.

A game like the Panthers is a tough one to gauge off of. The Rams needed a win, they were conservative, they knew their defense would take out the Panthers. It looks like it was a pretty vanilla game and gameplan.

But (outside DA) Gibson went 7 targets, 6 catches, 67 yds.

Robinson went 6 targets, 5 catches, 33 yards.

Robinson had a history with other Rams QB's but not with this one.

Robinson had great production with the Rams in the past, it would be nice to think he could again and the WW is a fallow desert right now for WR's.

The "shark move" is to go get AJ Green, J Baldwin, J Jones or whatever first round wr the rams get for Bradford this April.

Dude will injure himself lacing up his cleats Sun morning... I've spent late Rd picks on him this year & last....he should consider retirement given his inability to w/stand the physical nature of the game.

This guy isn't angry enough to be the Dan you're thinking of :)

3 leagues. 9 NFL weeks. 34 fantasy games played. How does the math work? Not questioning you, just confused. I have no strong opinion on Robinson. Best case I would expect would be a roller coaster but who knows.

Sorry...typo...20-8...reason for 28 games is, one league plays a double header week 3 to make it a 14 game schedule in 13 weeks +14/15/16 playoffs.

I don't see it.

I've been on this train before and I'm not sure we can see the tracks anymore. UFL in 2011 IMO
