After numerous mocks, I've been pretty impressed with the 6 slot. Seems like after CJ, Foster and Peterson are gone, you get what left of McCoy, Rice and Charles. Not bad in a PPR.

You then still have a crack at a top WR like Nicks, Fitz or Megatron or a top QB. I've historically fielded my best teams by staying loose and snagging value picks In the 6-8 slots.

What are you seeing? Any strategies for the mid-rounds come to mind?

Anyone by-passing RB and taking Andre Johnson for the backwards style?

I'm in a non-PPR and thinking Vick.

I'm considering McFadden with my 6th in a PPR.

I like him better than McCoy.

I would have a hard time drafting Vick in any scenerio.

I don't think this takes much thought. Take the last back standing between Foster, AP, CJ, Rice, Charles, and McCoy. If someone bites on Vick in the Top 5, you'll probably have to decide between Rice and McCoy.

Honestly from the 6 I prefer to go RB RB WR or RB RB RB, which from pretty much every other position I go RB WR WR, in some recent mocks I was able to get Rice/MJD/Best, or Rice/Forte/VJax, sometimes even getting Welker with the 35th pick and if he isnt there Steve Johnson usually is, liking collie in the 5th round but thats just preference to me.

Been holding off till the 7th round or later for a QB, usually taking Eli or Schaub.

In a 1/2/3 PPR league RB-RB-RB is insanity.

Are you referring to points per reception as in (1 for RB, 2 for WR, 3 for TE) or start 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR? Either way, I was under the impression it was just for a standard 2 rb 2 wr 1 flex PPR league.I just feel RB is very shallow this year and WR is quite deep.

No, 1/2/3 is the lineup requirement 1 QB 2 RB 3 WR...in most ppr leagues all positions get the same points(1) per reception.

Gotchya, I didnt read that in the OP, I wouldnt know enough about a 1/2/3 PPR league as I much more prefer having a flex.

I think you can't go wrong with one of the top 6 RBs (Foster, Peterson, Johnson, Charles, Rice, McCoy) in the first round.

In the second you need to see what falls to you and evaluate who you think is the safest/highest upside pick. If someone like Gore or Forte falls in your lap, do you pass on them to snag Jennings or Wayne? That's up to you, of course, but I feel there is a steeper drop off in RBs after the Gore/Forte/SJax types vs. the WRs that you can get in rounds 4 and 5. I'd be thrilled with a hypothetical lineup through 5 rounds of McCoy, Forte, Bowe, Dez, Holmes. Then you can worry about QB, TE, RB3, etc.

 I have both Gore and McFadden ranked higher than McCoy.
Looked it over long & hard, I don't think McCoy is done growing in that offense.Picked 6th in 14 Team PPR last night. McCoyNicksPeyton ManningLloydHarvinLynchHightowerRonnie BrownOrtonDelone CarterPhilly DSkins DCrabtreeNeed help on WR depth. Hoping my RB2 pans out, but it was great having that middle-ish 6th pick.

Anyone else have draft out of 6 recently? I'll post mine tomorrow. Have one tonight and one next week. Both out of the 6th.
