Yeah, that's probably where I'm at. Probably less. I don't eat fast food anymore unless it's at the tail end of a sloppy night and I really don't order them at restaurants if salad or soup is an option. I do really like sweet potato fries, though. If that's an option, I'll go with those. I need some seasoning with my fries too or at least a good dipping sauce.

Never had a taste for sweet potato -- fries or anything. There are many who swear up and down of its superior dominance over the regular old tater, but maybe I have an underdeveloped palate.
The sweetness ruins the taste for me, and I have never had a sweet potato fry that had the same level of crunch/crisp compared to regular ol' fries.
But that's me.

Full agreement. Taste is personal, but I find them limp and not crispy. It's not that they taste terrible, it's the texture that's completely lacking. It's like eating a loaf of bread.

I'll start off saying this: I do not include KFC in my fast food top 10. I think they are awful.
With that said...
KFC now has french fries instead of the potato wedges. My MIL asked me to stop there yesterday while doing some errands. I tried a fry. Wow. Their fries are serious contenders for the top spot(IMHO).
If you haven't had them yet, I suggest you give them a try.

Interesting, I always avoided the wedges. Recently I’ve been surprised with how good Wendy’s fries have been.
Looking back at the old posts on how frequently our friends here are fries gives me a bit of guilt as I think I’m a couple times a week.
Im blaming Covid.

Man I love their fries.
I feel like Chik Fil A deserves better but I may be giving too much credit to their great dipping sauces?
I guess I have only had Five Guys fries once or twice but each time I had them they were very greasy. I love Chick Fil A fries. I also like IN N OUT fries but can see why others don't.Man I love their fries.

True on the greasy, the seasoning is on point though. Also the peanuts while waiting are a little bonus.
