The official "I need something crazy to happen to win my playoff& (1 Viewer)

Another Colston hopeful here. Got lucky facing the AD owner who also had a :meh: night from Mason. #2 in total points but 8-5 H2H. The win will "earn" me the right to face Brady vs. NYJ next week

Need either 70/1 or 120 yds. (no TD) - no ppr from Colston to move on.

:dialingupsomesharkpoolmojo: :goodposting:

woooooooo

down 13, i got colston, stecker and (cough, cough) the saints D.

playing against brees....

i give myself about 40%

Down 14 with Brees and Crumpler to play. BUT my opponent has Stecker and Colston covering Brees. So I need Crumpler to score a TD or two and Brees to go off, but throw all his TDs to someone other than Colston or Stecker.

Yeah, I'm screwed.

I have won my game, but now also need Warrick Dunn to not score 28 points or more in a PPR league against one of the worst teams in my league. I have somehow managed to scrape to 8-6 and will win my division via head to head tiebreaker. I have 3rd lowest points I think.

BWAHAHAHAHAHA

The 2 QBs I drafted were Losman and Grossman. I have also played at one point or another Griese, Garrard, and Warner.

My RBs were MJD and FWP.

My WRs were Lee Evans, Anquan Boldin, Crayton, and Jennings.

My TEs were Heap and now more recently G Olsen.

PK - Nick Folk

DT - Texans / Jaguars during different points of season.

By far maybe the worst team to ever make the playoffs.

SKILL

Going into last night I needed 60+ from Addai and Colston in a PPR league. Now I need just over 30 from Colston. He's gotta have a 3-4 TD game and a boatload of TD's for me to get that....

I "only" need 8 points from Colston to overcome ADP, and playing against Brady. I figure a TD should do it (assumes the 20 yards is a given), but I wouldn't mind seeing 70 plus a TD just to be safe
"Sinn Fein" ... seriously? Who's your buddy, Al Qaida? :lmao:

I need 2.7 points from Brees, and having been hampered by the 0.3 points from AD this week, I'm not taking anything for granted.

haha I don't have a hope in heck, but i'm hoping brees either throws 5 ints and 0 tds or gets dinged up on the first drive. I can only give up 4 points to win..
Looks like we are in the same boat. I am down 5 points and I have Colston and he has Brees. PPR league. I need a lot of receptions for Colston and Brees to play TERRIBLE. I give myself a 1 out of 43 chance of winning this match-up.

Not really that crazy, I guess, but I need to win and get another guy to lose in order to get in to the playoffs. He is currently tied 28-28.He has David Patten going and his opponent has Michael Jenkins.I am currently down 71-70.I have Warrick Dunn and Eric Johnson going, and my opponent has Roddy White.
:goodposting: classic.2 TD's, one for Patten, one for White.

The Sinn Fein is a far cry from Al Quida. They may set a car bomb every now and again but they actually call ahead and warn people about the bomb before hand. Not kidding. And do you have any idea how many people have died in the religious infighting since 1916 in Ireland? A total of 6K people. That's on both sides. Al Queda took out half that many in one day....

Oh 6000 is that all? And the IRA of of 1912 is a far cry from that which terrorized the populace from the late 1960's on. In 1972 there were over 500 killed. My family left Northern Ireland because of those b@st@rds. So yeah 6000+ might be of little consequence to you but I am quite familiar with the situation thank you very much. Thank God things are much better now. I guess by your logic that since Al Qaida "only" killed 3000+ back in 2001 that the relevance has diminished in the intervening years.

I needed two teams to lose. One had Roddy White and was down by 16.5. He scored 15. The other had Drew Brees and was down by 6. His opponent had Reggie Bush in the lineup but was MIA. At the last minute, someone got in touch with him, and he replaced Bush with the only active player left on his roster, David Patten.

As it stands right now, I will make the playoffs in this league with a 6-8 record. The crazy thing is, I was the highest scoring team in the league 5 times and the second highest scorer three times. I've also faced the highest scoring team five times, and the second highest scoring team three times. So while I don't deserve to make it at 6-8, as the second highest scoring team in the league I had to stress out in week 14 just to find out if I made it in while teams I'd outscored by 20% on the season walked in with 10-4 or 9-5 records. Incredible.

:bag:  that win was worth $140, now on to the final 4! Maybe Brady will pull a groin on one of his supermodels this week and sit out vs. NYJ :boxing: . the shark pool mojo is :lmao: :thanks:

Sinn Fein, as I am sure you know, is a political party in Ireland. Yes, they have ties to the IRA. BUt, they have also supported the 1998 Good Friday Accord, and have maintained their end of the cease fire - including the destruction of arms. Their goal is the unification of Ireland - they have advocated that goal through force, and now through peace.Nobody seems to have a problem that the English took Ireland by force, but if the Irish wanted to take it back by force, they must be terrorists. Never forget that the victors always get to write the history books. If the Revolutionary War had turned out differently, the colonists would have been viewed as just another bunch of terrorists properly put in their place by the British. One man's fredom fighter is another man's terrorist - it always a matter of perspective.Tiocfaidh ár Lá

No, Al Queda took out 3000 plus in one day. Plus countless thousands more in Iraq and Afghanistan. Considering they took out 50% of of the total that you are attributing solely to the Sinn Fein in one day and it took the Catholics and the Protestants in Ireland 90 years to take out 6K. Also remember that number accounts for people killed on both sides of the line and thus some dead were caused by the other side although I have no idea as to the actual ratio. 6000 people killed in 90 years (~66/year) is probably about half as many people killed in Detroit alone over that same period of time. In terms of terrorist groups they are not anywhere near Al Queda. To mention the two in the same sentence (without showing the differences between the two) is just plain moronic despite your personal experience....

Missed it by about 5.5 points. Too bad Atlanta didn't put up a better fight and put some points on the board to keep the game closer and force NO to keep chucking the ball. Ahh well. Made it to the second round of the playoffs and won enough to pay my fees for next year...

going into last night's game i was down three with brees left vs. addaiso brees vs. addai(+3) and we all know what addai did, so i need about 32 points from brees tonight, 3 TD's and a few hundred passing, i'll end up losing on an INT by 1 pt...the culmination of this year would come down to this, in a year where i started 1-5, last place, made some moves...won some games, and am now involved in the 4 way tie for 3, 4th place to get into the playoffs...absolutely bonkers season, loved every minute of it...
got 34, so happy right now, also got myself into 3rd place so now i dont have to play brady first round verse the jets...things are shaping up nicely
