Have friends from college who I know were (at least when it came to school and books) pretty intelligent people.  Several of them have posted stuff like this and one is at least borderline a Qanon type now.  That guy was a near straight 8 mechanical engineering major.  Had done quite well for himself too.  Not at all one you would think of as dumb or gullible.  But yet...he is pushing this type of stuff yes.

Part of me always feels like i can reason with them.  Actually had one of the grandkids (who is in her mid 20s) tell her grandmother in not very nice words that because she doesn't support trump she will never let her see her grand kids again.  She used a lot of trump talking points in the rant she posted publicly on a post the grandmother put up.  The grandmother had trump derangement syndrome, she should get her brain tested, she for illegal immigrants raping children etc....it was quite the paragraph

My wife's best friend posts non-stop about this. Its definitely a deflection tactic and so annoying. I ended up blocking her on Facebook. The problem is she is putting these thoughts into my wife's head non-stop and now my wife is starting to sound like her. We have had numerous arguments about the pandemic being a conspiracy and that child sex trafficking is the real problem we should be focusing on. Of course, when President Trump said he wishes Ghillaine Maxwell well, not a peep on Facebook about that.

Is this just the spread that Q has had or is there something legitimate to this? I know he signed in some efforts to help trafficking enforcement but is it really this huge mission that's greatly increased our success? If so, how comes he doesn't talk about it?

As somebody who has worked in the world of the online badness, I genuinely think that governments, law enforcement agencies, and even private companies (e.g. pinterest, facebook, lawful porn websites, etc.) do a damn good job of regulating child pornography. 

With things like the dark web, private filing sharing software, etc. it's impossible to eliminate it completely.
