I wish he would have ran before everyone else so they could do the overlays and watch the slowest, fattest players smoke him. Watching BJ Raji destroy Eisen last year was the best part of the combine
Oh I'm sure we'll see some more of those overlays after he's run his 40 time. I can just picture the overlay with Eisen running and they put it up against Spiller or Best. In fact, I'll bet that we get as good a laugh if they overlay Tim Tebow over Eisen's run.
During the 2005 NFL Scouting Combine, Eisen ran the 40 yard dash in a suit on NFL Total Access in 6.7 seconds.[citation needed] In 2006, he ran it again in a suit and cut half a second off his time, reducing it to 6.2 seconds.[citation needed] Eisen ran 6.34 three combines in a row, including the 2009 combine where he also took the Wonderlic exam and achieved 35 correct answers out of a possible 50.
cody (?) looks like a sumo wrestler next to eisen, & still destroys him...
LOL at the production team aid overlay...
i liked the final look, with about 40 views of eisen frozen in stride... sprinters can look like gazelles or cheetahs, with no feet on the ground... pretty much one of his feet is anchored to the ground at all times.
If he would've stayed lower a little longer in his drive phase I really think he could've got under 6. Plus I don't think he does anything to really warm up. If he went and did a second 40 I think his time would be better because his body would be more ready for the run.
But it's one of my favorite things to watch when the combine is on. I hope they don't over do it and it never loses its awesomeness.
The best is with a 5 yard head start, he beats Tebow. Eisen's reaction to that is priceless. This has become one of the best parts of NFL Network's coverage of the combine.
