***The rookie hype has begun*** (1 Viewer)

Those replies are rediculous and must have been sent by morons. I would take Cedric Benson over ANY of next years rookie RBs.
Funny, but before I knew this was about LAST year, I thought the Benson & Jackson trade would be a good one for the guy receiving the pick. In hindsight it's even MORE lopsided for the guy receiving the pick.

Peterson was recently voted the #17 RB in dynasty leagues. According to these polls, he (or the 1.01) has about the same value of McGahee, Jones-Drew or Caddy.
Everyone needs to read this and remember to not trust any of the dynasty voting polls from now through the start of next season, too many people who vote in them are completely clueless and don't even play in dynasty leagues.

Ouch!Even when this was posted - Ouch!
Lets not forget 3 things. 1. This post was about a dynasty league. Certainly one year (or 10 1/2 games in Ceds case) out of the next 5-10 years isnt a clear representation of value.

2. Cedric Benson missed the last 5 1/2 games this year so of course his #s are low.

3. Over the last 6 weeks of the season AD was ranked RB#21 and Lynch was ranked RB#34. Was their fast start fluky? Have teams figured out how to game plan against them?

I would say at this point Adrian Peterson is the best out of the 3 with Lynch and Benson probably close to even. My main point when I wrote that though is that last years RB class was overall very weak top to bottom. Sure it was top heavy, but only in one player, as Lynch is still only a slightly above average RB at this point, he was just lucky to be on a run first team that pounded the ball.

Dude?
Dude? Cedric Benson clearly ran behind the worst offensive line in the league, maybe in the last 10 years.

 Please don't make it worse trying to justify that nonsense you initially wrote..

What team had a worse offensive line than the Bears this year? They were bad in pass protection and very bad in run blocking, plus their WRs do not run block well at all.

Do you watch the games? Lynch runs through more tackles on one carry than Benson will in a whole year. Benson has no heart, Lynch runs like every carry is going to be his last.
