super short list... what do I do with the other 99.9% of my day?Think about why being an American is better than being a Canadian.
Will try and upload a pic if it works.Honestly I'd be outside every 2 hours to watch my piss freeze instantly.

Brutal. I did this exact thing in upstate NY the other night when it was -15 with the wind chill. I put in $10, said "screw it that's enough so it won't freeze" and ran back to my car heat.worst part was driving home late last night, it was about -31 and I left my gloves behind... dead tired....
realized I had 3 ticks left on the gas tank.... figured if it sat overnight and got to -40 as expected, my gas line would freeze.
pumping gas, piss tired, -30, severe winds and no gloves - total hell.
It happens like once a year IF that, and most of the time Ontario is freaking gorgeous. Plus, you know, cheap health care, drugs, and legal prostitution.Prevention is better than a cure - solution is : Don't live where those tempeatures are a possibility
Yea, but she might throw in an extra hour free just so she doesn't have to go back outside so quick.'tutes would charge HEAVY in tips today.
but not a bad idea.
Wait....this is a real thing? I've got a quarter of a tank and they're calling for -25 wind chills through until tomorrow morning. Should I hit the gas station?Brutal. Also, heated seats are a god send this weather.
Also also, movie marathon is the way to go and/or lots of reading and/or video games. I read all morning, played some minecraft, and now the family is about to fire up the Lord of the Rings.
But in your case, with your life and location, I'd probably call a prostitute and offer to pay extra for delivery service.

-25 may not do it... but it's possible if its low enough, I guess. quarter tank should be fine at -25

The classic (which I spraypainted as teen) and the Brett Hull Edition.the Hull one is a bit rough now, but the classic is still mint.
I gotta get on that thing. I brought the one home with me...

Lived most my life in winters that would get colder then that. Never had it happen to me or heard of it. I think people say it to scare people into keeping their gas full in the winter. Which is a good idea incase you get stranded. Maybe if you got water in your gas tank it could freeze.I can 100% verify this happens, have had it happen before.Wait....this is a real thing? If there is water in the tank, it can freeze. The fuel itself has a very low freezing point that isn't even worth considering. I suppose it's possible that there could be water condensation and increased moisture in the tank that could freeze in the fuel line or somesuch. I would think this would be quite unlikely in most climates and situations. If I lived in Canada or Siberia, I could see having more fuel in the tank on very cold nights as being a decent precaution. Most people will never encounter conditions where this would be a real problem. We need Pickles to weigh in on this controversy.
Can the tank freeze, Mr. Wizard? Or is it a marketing scam?
Saw a DDD show last nite that had a place in Toronto (Rosedale Diner) where they did Poutine with duck shredded in with the gravy. that being said, lots of places do "souped up" poutines now... with some of the craziest #### inside. all delicious.
but there's something purely satisfying about a straight up, original poutine.
eta: poutine soup is becoming a thing... and it's trash
you really in Peterborough? Gonna have to stop by for a drink next time I roll thru the Severn for some fishing.I went out for breakfast this AM, wore base layers underneath though. I had to put gas in this AM as well, ####### sucked. I'm trying the italian beef recipe from the crock pot thread for the first time today because no chance I'm leaving the house again.
Since everyone in Southern Ontario who ever posts in the FFA is in this thread right now, it seems like the original question has been answered.
