To counter the other thread, and because people think I'm a caveman with 1950's sensibilities, I thought I'd start this thread. I'll start.

Even when she is wrong, her heart is in the right place - without fail. She's always putting the kids first or anything other than herself first. Love that about her.

Also - she can bake. Keeps me fatter than I'd like but hey I have buddies whose wives don't even cook. That's crazy talk.

Are we married to the same woman? My wife is an amazing cook and baker and the most selfless person I know.

Thirded.

I hope so. I think you make more money than I do.

Welcome aboard. Let's start a polygamy cult where the chicks have multiple husbands and most of the dudes just go play golf.

She looks slamming when we go out (and is younger than I by 13 years), so that's a nice ego boost.

She has a taste for good food (but also for expensive everything else)

For a freakin' princess, she somehow loves camping.

Very good cook (works from recipes, but I don't really care)

PS - A couple more titillating items but some peeps on here actually know her, so lets just say fun and openminded.

Cooks. She loves it, it's her therapy and she can pretty much make anything.

Makes great food.

Is totally sold out homeschooling our boys - almost never takes a day off.

Considerate - takes neighbor across the street with her grocery shopping every Friday without fail.

Mostly she tolerates my numerous vices. Doesn't bust my balls for doing things I enjoy.

I don't know how to work the washing machine or dishwasher or vacuum. Frugal almost to a fault. Anything nice she has is given to her by others.

Doesn't cook much, but after a few samples of her efforts early on in our marriage I moved that from the bad things to the good things list.

Does storytelling in the schools. Pretty amazing belly dancer and hula dancer.

Sick, SICK twisted sense of humor. And I dig that maybe the most.

Great mother;

Does not bust by ### about most things;

Very laid back;

Is happy to go to BJ's with regularity;

Laughs at my stupid jokes

Lets me play video games without nagging me

Lets me watch football every Sunday and takes the kid out of the house

Yeah also my wife is very chill, doesn't care if I get drunk or stay out too late and doesn't expect extravagant gifts or anything, she'd rather spend the money on the house or something for us.

- mine loves to play viggle and watch any sport (i don't think she actually likes the sports but loves playing the viggle games so she is a nazi about watching games).

- is obsessed with cleaning so we generally have a very clean house

- has zero clue about money (blessing and curse) so never gives me a hard time about what i spend

- is generally up for anything as long as she is told where to go although she hates to plan

- is exponentially better at video games than myself, although I would put an five year old girl ahead of me.

Mine let's me watch as much football as I want.

She earns a lot of money and saves voraciously.

She's a Cajun, so she can cook.

I've never beaten her in a marathon we ran together (although my best time is faster than hers).

Nice rack.

cooks well, mostly sticks to my ultra strict family budget which is asking quite a bit I admit.

but I could put more things in the other thread.

I'm jealous of the people on here that say they can hang out with their friends and drink without getting a hard time.

1) Heart of gold - puts others ahead of herself

2) Great mother

3) Stays in shape

4) Not a shopper

5) Always liked my best friends more than me (was never a competition for her for time)

6) Extremely supportive

7) Appreciative. We came from nothing. She appreciates our life. Grateful

8) Doesn't nag

9) Dots

10) My best friend for 3 decades

She's a better pool player than almost everyone (I'd bet she's better than 98% of adults).

She's an above average poker player and is perfectly fine spending 10 hours straight at a poker table.

When we got together, she owned more video game systems than I did and she's good at them. Her favorites are puzzle type games (tomb raider, portal) but she's an above average FPS player and is one of those 100% completion RPG players.

She's easily the most on top of it parent between the two of us. I'm not sure my kid would survive a weekend alone with me!

Just yesterday, my wife texted me, "I just removed my panties because they're so wet." ( :yes: Right use of text)

I texted back, "As soon as I get home I'm going to wash them for you." (Wrong answer :doh: )

Cooking is #1 by far.

- She cooks a from-scratch meal at least 5 days a week

- Very creative meals. Completely new stuff a lot, makes it all up herself, never uses recipes

- 90% of the time it's really good and usually healthy

But there are downsides:

- She spends a fortune at the grocery store

- We end up throwing a lot of expired vegetables away

- I do dishes half the time and she makes some incredible kitchen messes

Really surprised how many cooking mentions. I always tell my wife she could be a chef, and I thought that level of skill was less common nowadays. She consistently blows me away with her creations, and rarely follows any recipe.

Just an all around good person that I trust completely.

A tad high maintenance at times but the payoff is worth it ;)
