If you were placed down on an island with no else there from birth, and had enough resourses to survive, how would you know what religion to be?

If there was a god and he wanted to give every human being an equal chance to reach heaven, this would seem like the way to go:

When a human reaches the age where they can determine the difference between right and wrong, good and evil, God will appear to them and explain that there is a heaven and a hell, how you live your life will determine where you go after you die. Now go and enjoy your life!

If a human never is able to understand the difference between good and evil, then they get a free pass up, no punishment.

No need for churches, worship or the chosen people.
