Can anyone remember a solid year like this? Any of these teams have the weapons to win it all. Should be four very good football games.There's also a lot of good story lines, from Ray-Ray to Wilson, to Falcons trying to redeem themselves, to Manning coming back, etc. I love football!

when i looked at the total year resumes of the teams I thought these were the best 8 teams for the entire season.

Yup, I was thinking about this the other day. I was bored and looked at where all of the remaining teams were ranked for scoring offense/defense. Every one of the 8 remaining teams is ranked in the top 12 for both offense and defense. The 4 teams that won last week were also all ranked higher in offense/defense combined than the teams they beat.

I too think these are the 8 best teams in the league right now, which doesn't normally happen. Over the last few years, there are always at least 1 or 2 low ranked teams that make the final 8.
