Other than guys like Keith Rivers, are there any defenders that are worth getting or keeping an eye on for a dynasty roster?

16 team league, 15 starters, 11 bench, 2 dl, 2 lb, 2 db, 1 dl/lb/db flex.

1 point for tkl, 0.5 for assist

2 point for sack

4 points for int

1 for forced fumble, 2 for fumble recovery

It's a very broad question, especially if guys like Keith Rivers are in the discussion.

Best of the best from 2008 class include Mayo, Lofton, Rivers, Dizon, Long, Jackson, Harvey and Phillips. Then there's a bunch of lesser names like Gooden, Adibi, Bell, Groves, Johnson, Godfrey and a host of corners.

Gene, is it worth trying to get any of those guys (not including Rivers, Lofton, Long, Harvey or Jackson - not available) on a bench (11 player bench) for the future in a dynasty league?

I'd think that everyone in the first sentence belongs on a roster in a league where there are enough roster spots to burn one on a developmental prospect. The others are more league dependent -- Can you get them later?, etc.

Phillips was just put on waivers, the rest are on rosters. We have Dizon on our development roster as well
