Not much of a surprise I guess...Brady was amazing this season.

But I wonder how people feel about individual awards now??

This was the right pick. He was (IMO) the best offensive player this season. I heard some sports-talk radio hosts/guests speculating that Vick might get OPOY and Brady get the MVP, but that didn't make sense to me. Vick played well at times, but he also had some bad games, AND he missed 4 games. Brady had (AT MOST) 3 below-average games, but even in those games, his numbers weren't horrible.

Brady's stats weren't off the charts, but nobody had one of those types of years.

He played well enough to win many games despite losing Moss (maybe it helped), and showed once again why he's one of the best players in the league.

Good choice.

ETA: the numbers aren't staggering until you look closer, his efficiency was astounding.
