Thoughts on Hines Ward? (1 Viewer)

I think Ward will be an excellent WR2 from here on out. Steelers may have a better defense this year than last, but Holmes is gone too. I doubt any of their options at WR3 will be as productive as Wallace was a year ago.

I just picked up Wallace as a FA. I've thought about going after Hines, but I'm not sure he's a noticable upgrade over Wallace. Kinda feels like Big Ben is gonna try to show the world he can still fling it 60 yards.

Good point. With that said and not trying to hijack but does this mean Miller gets more love?

I can't see Ben leaning on a TE more than the second- thru fourth-stringers who've started at QB the first 4 weeks.

I think that's it's pretty safe to say/assume............EVERYBODY on the Steelers offense gets a nice bump up with the return of Big Ben. Personally, I think Wallace is the biggest benefactor.

He could be, especially in a ppr league. I think Ben will be out to prove something.
I agree too. Didn't Ward catch like 85+ passes last year?
Their defense had some key injuries last year. With the way they are flying to the ball this year, Pitts won't have a lot of garbage time passing yards. I'd temper my expectations this year.
Yeah, this is exactly why I don't see him as more than a WR3. Unless something happens to the Steeler D, Ben won't be chucking the ball as much as last year.
