Thoughts on Morrison, Harris for 09? (1 Viewer)

What does the FBG think of Kirk Morrison and David Harris for 2009? I'm looking at drafting one in the first round of my IDP draft, but uncertain where to go. My thoughts are that with Rob Ryan leaving Oakland, Morrison's stats will suffer and he'll fall a little from where he is currently ranked. Where as the opposite may hold true for David Harris. His production dropped a little last year, but with Rex Ryan coming into NY I would think that his production may increase. The Ryan's seem to know how to tweak a player's skills and get the best of a player in their system.

What are your thoughts? Which player would hold more value this year?

There's some discussion on both players scattered around from earlier this year if you've got a little time to play with the search function.

I'm a little nervous about Kirk Morrison, since the read-and-react scheme John Marshall used in Seattle didn't do Lofa Tatupu any favors. However, Morrison is a solid player and really has only Thomas Howard as an established competitor for tackles with Gibril Wilson gone. I think he stays in or near the top ten.

All signs currently suggest that David Harris will play the LILB spot in NY, which is a slightly less favorable tackle spot on paper though not always in reality. Harris should finish in the top 25, but isn't a safe bet to crack the top ten again.
