..for reasons you can't logically articulate?

i'm talking about ones where you see the headline, you go in with a closed mind, you consider only your own viewpoint out of many and you just start swinging for absolutely no reason.. especially when you're the only person who has gone over the edge.

caveat:  cannot be political

Do forums count?

The Elder Scrolls vs. Skyrim.....I can't even explain why it bothered me but I honestly thought it was a battle of two things (didn't realize that "V" was supposed to be a Roman numeral or whatever).

Also, the thread with the Jefferson Airplane song built this city infuriated me because I'd see it and that song would pop into my head. :hot:

Wow, man, people don’t like rebuttals do they. Personally, I like the ones where people reply a dissenting view and the response is immediate anger and yelling trying to make the dissenter seem angry. Sorry, I didn’t mean to step on your toes. You’ll reverse your age soon. Go get that BioViva treatment you paid for, it’ll work. Good luck.

She drives me crazy drives you crazy?

R U talking R.E.M. Re: me?

R we having The Strokes?

Not threads so much as posts, but..

- When people post that they either pronounce things differently than I do or have different words for things than I do.

- When people post entire song lyrics

- When people in the soccer thread make country or city names plural.  "England are going to win!"

This describes the "Board Upgrade Tips" thread to a T. And yet it's still pinned.

Probably because if anyone ever tried to search for it, they'd come up empty with the wonderful search option.

Any “Is it collusion” thread.

NO IT IS NOT.

Thread titles never bother me. If it’s not something I’m interested in, I just don’t click on it. On the other hand, when someone quotes a post that’s like 19 paragraphs, only to have a two word reply or a rofl smilie? That makes me see red for some reason.

I think that having a thread about annoying things without the proper amount of ellipses makes me see red...

Ahem.

didn't know what day it was
When you walked into the room
I said hello unnoticed
You said goodbye too soon

Breezing through the clientele
Spinning yarns that were so lyrical
I really must confess right here
The attraction was purely physical

I took all those habits of yours
That in the beginning were hard to accept
Your fashion sense, Beardsley prints
I put down to experience

The big bossed lady with the Dutch accent
Who tried to change my point of view
Her ad lib lines were well rehearsed
But my heart cried out for you

You're in my heart, you're in my soul
You'll be my breath should I grow old
You are my lover, you're my best friend
You're in my soul

My love for you is immeasurable
My respect for you immense
You're ageless, timeless, lace and fineness
You're beauty and elegance

You're a rhapsody, a comedy
You're a symphony and a play
You're every love song ever written
But honey what do you see in me

You're in my heart, you're in my soul
You'll be my breath should I grow old
You are my lover, you're my best friend
You're in my soul

You're an essay in glamor
Please pardon the grammar
But you're every schoolboy's dream
You're Celtic, United, but baby I've decided
You're the best team I've ever seen

And there have been many affairs
Many times I've thought to leave
But I bite my lip and turn around
'Cause you're the warmest thing I've ever found

You're in my heart, you're in my soul
You'll be my breath should I grow old
You are my lover, you're my best friend
You're in my soul

who doesn't love a good creamy crockpot chicken

INGREDIENTS

OPTIONAL INGREDIENTS

2.5 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breast or thighs

2 (15 oz.) cans black beans, rinsed and drained

2 cups salsa

1 can corn, drained (opt.)

8 oz. cream cheese

cooked rice

tortillas

shredded cheese

INSTRUCTIONS

Put chicken, black beans, salsa and corn into crockpot and place cream cheese on top. Cover.

Cook on high for 2 ½ to 3 hours.

Shred chicken (I love using my favorite kitchen scissors  for this) and serve over cooked rice or use as tortilla filling. (If using as a tortilla filling, I often still use rice, but just mix it into the chicken mixture at the end of the cooking time.)

Top with shredded cheese if desired.
