I run a league were the tightends are only used in the wideout or flex position, Next year we are going to bring in the TE position, There is still seperation from the #1 to #12 TE. I open to hearing from anyone and everybody whose league uses the Tightend, plus your opinion on how to score them so the bottom tier can compete will the top tier the best they can.

You score the TE the same as the WRs. It is up to you when to choose your TE, go early with Gates, Witten..or roll the dice later.

Make the TE a part of the game. If your league gives WRs 1 point for 10 yards receiving, give the TE 1 point per 5 yards receiving. One league I'm in gives this scoring to TEs and it gives our league a fun, new dimension. It adds a lot to the strategy - both in the draft and in weekly scoring. Let's face it, if the TE scoring is the same as WRs, they are almost an afterthought. Just my .02.
