Time for JaMarcus? (1 Viewer)

I would think Russell is going to need a little more practice team. If he had been in training camp and practicing with the team all preseason / first few weeks... I'd say yes... Russel's time. Think we're a few more weeks away.

bump....

any word from the Oakland homers.....9 points against Tenn?

dire straits at QB right now in a league......I know even if he plays he might not be worthy of starting, but could be better then other options on waiver wire....

with two home games in a row....Hous then Chic, this might be as good a time as any to get him in there.......

How many times is Culpepper going to fumble the ball this year (either losing it or recovering it)? He's on pace for something.

All 5 of the Oakland QBs are garbage.
That's simply untrue.I don't think people truly appreciate just how bad teams like oak and MIA were on offense last season. Both teams went from the very bottom of the league to the middle of the pack in less than a year. You have to walk before you can run.

hey just doesnt have the elusiveness or mobility. JaMarcus isn't the fastest but he has some elusivenss kinda like Big Ben but a little better. It'll be interesting to see if he can shake off tacklers like in college.

Culpepper has always had a fumbling problem. He's just even more like Tony Banks now that he can't move.

I think Russell may have to wait for next year. At minimum, I don't think you can start him until the team is out of contention.

Dave Krieg comes to mind. But I looked it up, Warren Moon had 163 career fumbles. Cpepp has 37 per ESPN. I was curious...and bored.

In McCown's last stint as a starter, he had 10 turnovers in 6 starts, so it's not like he'd be much of an improvement over Culpepper.Besides, how on earth could you put your faith in a guy who looks like this

The way McCown and Culpepper have played, there is no barrier for JaMarcus to start for this team. It's when he, Kiff and/or Al decide it's time. Debatable as to whether it'll be the best thing for JR in the long run but he may go in sooner than thought given his lack of college experience and preseason holdout.
