Time for the Talk (1 Viewer)

Well to be fair that's what they think. #3 delivered 9 and still thought that for another two years until I clarified it.
Whoa, this might need to be unpacked a little bit.

Wait, what?  :scared:
When #3 was 10yo she delivered my 9th baby with the ob sitting beside her showing her how to catch. It was pretty cool. A year or so later I thought she never asked about how the baby gets in there. So I asked her what she thought. She thought it was like teeth or boobs or poop. It naturally generates and for me it was every other year or so, for other people not so much. So I explained the truth. I have always answered any questions my kids have about anything as best I can and as truthful as I can be. #4 (I guess he was 8 and asked if he could come too) cut the cord for that baby and told his dad he's really glad he was a boy.

She made it sound like the only way to get an erection to go away was to have an orgasm.  Maybe she honestly didn't know...
Your dad probably told her that, pretty smart actually.... Honey, I have a boner and you know the only way to make it go away.

#3 saw your fully dilated hoohoo at 10yrs old?

I couldn't think of a more traumatic experience than to see my mom in that situation.

And then her 8 year old boy was there seeing everything the next birth?  Very strange if true

Same birth. They were 11 & 9. I had to do math to remember exactly. Anyway, no it wasn't weird. She was with me for the two previous births and wanted to catch. She said it was cool. And she and that baby are extremely close.

When my son asked to come I discussed it with his male father, my male family doctor, and my male ob. They were all for it. I don't think it turned him gay or a serial killer. But he didn't want to go to the next birth and highly cautioned the next kid not to go.

It went something like this: "The butt isn't designed for sex but a lot of people do it.  If any guy (I have a daughter) ask you to have anal sex, tell him to go #### a guy"
I am glad you weren’t parenting 30 years ago.

Interesting that you felt the need to clarify this. Do some of your children have female fathers? If so, somebody needs to have the talk with me, because I missed something.
