Im pretty sure Peyton had 0 tds.Seems like if you have better options its time to bench SchaubAside from the huge game vs Washington he's been killing me on a week to week basis. KC's defense has been amazing this year and held Peyton to 1TD.
This is getting close to Assistant Coach forum material. So, WDIS?
I wish I had done the same. Played Schaub last two weeks, and it cost me a win last week, and there's a resonable chance it will this week.I picked up Orton after week 1 and have started him the past 2 weeks over Schaub, even though Orton probably had a tougher matchup.
That's the way I'm treating him. Played Flacco for the matchup today (and for AJ not being 100%) with good results.Schaub is still a very good NFL QB, but may no longer be a top-10 FF QB due to the change in offensive philosophy. He's best as a match-up starter if you have another viable QB to platoon him with.
People getting carried away with this AC stuff. The shark pool is fine for this topic. Not a WDIS but the overall value of Schaub going forward. Seems like 80% of the topics in here. Schaub is limited right now by his banged up receiving core and good running game. Arian Foster has been known to get banged up and suffered a minor injury Sunday. If Foster slows down, Schaub is right back to being a top 5 qb.This is getting close to Assistant Coach forum material. So, WDIS?
OD not healthy, AJ not Healthy, Jacoby not Healthy. Strong running game7 TDs and 5 INTs through five games. And under 200 yards in three of those five games. Ugh. Okay, they are running the ball better, but something ain't right when their passing game, and I am not chalking it up to Andre Johnson's ankle. That hasn't helped, but something still ain't right. When I saw that they had fallen behind 21-0 yesterday, I thought, "Sweet, he will rack up big yards and a few touchdowns when playing from way behind," which I figured was a given. And I was dead wrong. He couldn't even deliver in the second half of a blowout loss. Aside from the Washington game, he has been pretty disappointing.
Really? I think he looks fine - there were a couple balls yesterday that were an inch or two from being big gainers. He is one of a few QBs in the league that can throw for 350/3 at any given time.Just watching Schuab, he does not look right. There is enough passing in the Texans offense for Schaub to enough numbers to justify him as fantasy starter. He flat is not playing well even considering the injuries all over the place.

because top wr/rb never under performmeatwad1 said:Much like many other top flight qb failures, it would be prudent to make a mental note not to draft a qb next year unless you are getting great value. He is a great buy low...if you are selling though, do not expect to get much.
