Time to cut Andre Carter? (1 Viewer)

What is up with Andre Carter? I loved him in previous years and being able to play him in my DE or LB slot has been a great bonus. This year he is not making the grade. It is obviously time to cut him in redrafts, but what about dynastys? I am fed up with him.

I'm hanging on to him in dynasty in hopes that he gets a change of scenery next year. Hopefully he can end up with a 4-3 team and get back to terrorizing QBs.

Hopefully he can pull a "kampman" in a future season and regain his top-15 DE status, although I do not know what his contract status is, and whether he will get the opportunity or not.

Yes. Especially if he only qualified at LB.
He is still DE/LB eligible
Not in my league. I cut him in week 2 despite needing some LB depth. I grabbed Quincy Black instead. It's absurd that Suggs is characterized as a DE despite wearing a LB's number and often rushing from an upright stance, while Carter is characterized as a LB.

Unless you have to room to store him in the hopes that he moves to a 4-3 team next year, I'd cut him in dynasty, too.His snaps have gone down now that he's been replaced at LB. He still gets a significant amount of PT (played about 2/3 of the snaps last week) but he's mainly going to be used as a DE in situational packages from here on out ('Skins played a lot of dime last week against the Packers). That may bump his scoring in big play/sack heavy leagues somewhat, but since he's probably going to be listed as LB for most leagues there is probably plenty of WW fodder that will out produce him, fantasy-wise.
