Time to drop Dunn in dynasty leagues (1 Viewer)

I'm sure there is some value on the WW that is better to have than Warrick Dunn, both now and for the future. He sure looks like :toast: to me. He will be 33 in Jan and I bet he retires after this season.

His value has been poor for awhile. This past off season in Hyper 1, the best offer I could get for him was like WR5 or 6s who are currently on the WW. IMO, he has no trade value, and the minimal value he does have is as an emergency starter. Of course, in that league, my RBs are such mess, he has actually started like 3 or 4 weeks for me and is not of the question for week 9.

IMO, he's in the hold range - very tough to move in dynasty and, at least in PPR, ranked as the #30 RB right now - too high to drop.

Understand the zeal to clean up the forum, but I thought this was legitimate.

Unless you're rebuilding for next year, I'd hang on to Dunn. BP is determined to start him, and he's bound to have a good game at some point, at which time you try to claim he's back, and sell him for what you can get.

I actually packaged Dunn and my 2008 1st round pick(I was 6-0 at the time) for Rudi Johnson.......so it is still possible to get value for him in a dynasty.
I guess anything is possible, and he could actually have a good game here and there, but in the whole scheme of things, he's done as far as dynasty is concerned IMO. I could be wrong, and I am dropping him in one dynasty league for this week's waiver run.

I dumped him last season for Tarvaris and a 2nd round pick (which turned into Sidney Rice). The writing's on the wall any time you have a player nearing the end of his career. You have to cut bait before they're worthless.
