**Titans at Colts**(-15.5, 48) 4:25 (1 Viewer)

Yeah, this one has blowout written all over it. If I'm the Titans, I'm employing a very run heavy gameplan. Like, even if they are down multiple scores, run the ball. You aren't gonna develop Cam Ward by getting him killed. This game plan should be built around Tony Pollard (perhaps a trade showcase?)

Indy should be able to do mostly what they want. For whatever reason Tyler Warren is the best player in the NFL in the 1st quarter, and then mostly a non-factor thereafter. Sure would be interesting if they kept feeding him for an entire game. Taylor should eat, but I do think/wonder if the Colts maybe start resting him a little later in games like these. Not that you obviously don't start him, but its something that could start to happen. I think Alec Pierce is a decent bye week dart throw as he's been pretty consistently getting deep most weeks, and has been seeing more than just deep targets too. If Josh Downs is needed he'll be great, but he only plays in 3-WR sets, so the upside is limited. Its unfortunate, because he's probably their best WR, sort of the Jayden Reed dilemma.

Colts cover with ease.

The Colts are one of the worst pass defenses and ...it hasn't seemed to matter.
Cam has had some nice fourth quarters but no coming out game. I guess ya gotta hope for that.

Big Jeff and Snead are out. Brownlee in with NYJ. Barton played awful in spots and still waiting for James Williams to sub in as LBs would normally.

The offense should be largely rookies-
Ward hasn't looked very good.
Elic has been poor with a catch here n there masking that he's really struggled since he brought hope the first couple weeks.
Dike has a quarter of good play this year.
Gunnar has been just as good as in camp and the more desperate it gets the more I just want them to force it to the TE.
Ward's fourth round crew is still being judged like they were first or second round picks and now Ward is being held responsible for them playing like fourth rounders.

Van and Prosche can provide "don't forget about me" veteran play and each seem to be in way better shape than ever before. Still it's Van and Prosche.

It's too bad this game isn't being played in 2027. In 2025, I expect a bad blowout and worry of a divisional opponents hitting Cam with a little extra oomph. Not that the Colts would it's just how the world turns.

Taylor should get tired he gets so many yards and any game plan away from that is silly.

Jones hasn't stumbled thru the barrio this year and will probably play just fine too. They're down to Baker and McCreary.

I really wouldn't be surprised to see Chig outside this game. That might be fun to watch.

With the deadline looming, I wouldn't be surprised if Chig and McCreary and Key(if) are pulled once the game is out of hand

The Indiana Jones Story continues as The Colts get a semi-bye at home against The Titans
I don't think Jones will have to do much this week
The Titans offense is anemic and Taylor should have his way running the ball
Colts may be playing back ups the entire fourth quarter
so...

The Colts are in unfamiliar territory. They need to be buyers. They need CB and Edge help before it derails their season. Roger McCreary? Alontae Taylor? Cam Taylor-Britt? Bradley Chubb? Jaelan Phillips? One could argue that either of the Dolphins edge rushers could be a difference maker, but both come with huge injury risk, especially Phillips. With Charvarius Ward hurt and Walley out for the year, the Colts need cornerback help in the worst way. These defensive deficiencies could cause the Colts train to derail real fast and if they want to compete with some of the elite QBs still left on their schedule, they need to branch out into uncharted waters and makes some moves.

A lot of the pregame discussion has been the lack of effort and discipline from Titans players and how often veterans are displeased with others. Expecting a huge overhaul- as if they have a lot they can afford to lose- this offseason
Former players, where's pride when a Raiders coach says worst team in 25 years and Boutte calls the secondary lazy? Why didn't they come fired up like "i'll show you"

Colts did whatever they wanted then Steichen got cute and wrecked the drive with a few play calls

Colts 44 wouldn't get up off Spears
Spears kinda bouncing his hips let me up
Double penalties and a Colt talking some smack at McCoy who clearly said shut up

Then a nice wide run by Spears just turning on the jets

Colts gotta get their heads back. Easy win. No need to be dirty chippy

There's Gunnar

Colts extra curricular gave the Titans offense some spark
They were being pushed around and Ward almost sacked every snap before this

Oof overthrows Elic

Titans have had smothered WR catch a forced short one then go deep next play every game this year. Possibly even the same two plays.

No clue why defenses aren't feasting on that

Winston almost makes big plays every week
If the kid can gain a tenth of a second he's gonna be a huge deal

McCoy shouldn't need to learn Spears isn't an up the gut runner

He looks so fast like extra like he was in camp and just stop with this plodding stuff. That ain't him

Titans have been pretty good in most first halfs

Unbelievably bad in third Q which sometimes carries over into 4th

Then Ward gets some nice garbage time work

This is probably meeting the script

Pittman off to a good start, hope the Titans keep it close enough and encourage the Colts to keep throwing
They're throwing at whoever Armour Davis is covering and he hasn't been on him since.

Have to see who he's got

Interesting that they're avoiding Baker who they cut two years ago and Denard made into a real good CB. They look weak at CB besides Moore and like they could really use him

Titans with a sack by Jones
Pressure by Harrell
Wow

Then a Taylor run to probably force the timeout end of half junk

Colts line stunk there and have been so impressive on runs. Taylor has had enormous holes to run through.

The offense has looked like it's focused on one guy each drive
This is the first that looks like spread it around

man where is appreciation for warren te. lol
He had a nice catch Quandre almost punched out but he was "my ball!"
The other I remember was the great freeing up block. He just caught n run so I credit the blocker or mentioned him here
