ME: (Dialing 1-800-DIRECTV) --- "Ummm ... there is something wrong with the NFL channel it is blacking out TEN at SEA"
DTV: (Looking up predetermined answer) --- "Yessir, many times NFL teams will blackout a game locally until it is sold out then they will remove the blackout"
ME: The game is in Seattle, I live 2500 miles away, am I considered local by the Seahawks?"
DTV: (Long uncomfortable silence whilst she looks for a predetermined response that she will never find for that answer) --- "Well sometimes teams don't sell enough tickets to afford to televise the games"
ME: (hang the phone up on that nice try answer LOL)
anyways, I live in TEN ... is this a possibility this year that the AWAY games can be blacked out?
and if so what is the logic behind that?

The game is probably being carried by one of your local stations which is why the NFL network isn't carrying it.The Panthers games was blacked out on the NFL Network earlier tonight but it was on the local ABC station

As a die hard Seahawks fan, I have to agree. I don't like them, yet, but I'm not disgusted by them. Wish it was the logo on the shoulder rather than the neon green Nike logo (wish it was almost any color then neon green). Gonna take some getting used to, and daytime games may not be so fun with such dark materials (and they can also look way different). Hope they do a home game throwback uniform day in honor of Cortez the King, I miss the old unis...Haven't watched the game, just highlights but the thing that struck me most is that Jackson would never have thrown the Edwards TD unless maybe it was Rice.

I'm not feeling anything that's neon green, but it's supposed to be a feather for each of the tribes of the PNW. Also dig the wraparound helmet logo and hope the silver gets more play on the uni.

Are you certain on the number of tribes thing? I think those feathers are in groups of 12 in honor of 12th man. There are a lot more than 12 tribes in the PNW. Pretty sure there are more than 12 tribes in just the Puget Sound area.

Maybe itself feathers are on the collar. Not sure what's on the pants and looking close at it gives me temporary blindness.
In other notes, why are so many Seattle fans ready to throw in #3 after 1 half of preseason football? let Flynn settle in, he has been moving around practicing a lot with the backups, not most of the first string because they were trying to see if Tarvaris had any more value before going to Flynn. He looked good tonight, granted Russel Wilson looked good himself. Russel has been practicing with these guys, and so they allready have rapport with him. let Flynn bond with Rice, Baldwin, Tate, and Lynch, keep resigning their defense and i feel you have a playoff team for years to come.
