Probably alot lower than Laurant Robinson's value in Dallas. I don't mean to come off harsh but this bottom of the barrel fantasy wise. A lot of potential in the past.... But major cut action as of late.

The fact that the Rams cut him in September doesn't argue for him...BUT I actually think there is some decent upside there if Tennessee did sign him so if you have extra roster spots he could be worth a cheap add/stash

I would say that this signing may just lower the value for some of the individuals who are READY to step up and have been working in the offense all season. ( IE Hawkins and Williams)

Interesting guy to monitor here. As far as I know, the argument against Avery has just been that he can't stay healthy. Before this season, I think most would have chosen a healthy Avery over a healthy Nate Washington (considering only ability). In addition, the depth chart looks mighty thin ahead of him, and I think Hasselbeck still has a little something left, especially with defenses keying on the run. Talent and opportunity could be one Nate Washington injury from meeting up. I say he's worth closely monitoring. If the Titans leave Avery as the #5 receiver, and we don't hear much about him, then he can stay on my waiver wire. If they fast-track Avery into a few sets and talk him up, I'm going to try to find a spot for him on dynasty rosters.

Even if Laurent hit his full potential the next few weeks with the Cowboys he would still end up #3 on the depth chart at WR and #4 in targets, Avery has a lot more full season value.I think when you pick up players like this you should be mentally committing to a 3 week project. He doesn't know the system or the QB and though he might surprise with a couple of big catches with the opposing D not having film in week 1 you won't really know if he is going to fit until 3-4 weeks at the earliest. On the bright side for Avery Hass has been attempting 37 passes a game- 9th in the league. There is a lot of room for him to fit in and be a 4-5 catch a guy once he gets into the offense.

As a Nate Washington owner I love it. He will make the random play to keep defenses honest (hopefully) and will not cut into Nate's stats at all. Before this, I likened Nate's situation to that of Mike Thomas...a WR2 slotted out of necessity into a WR1 role.

avery is pretty much a speed merchant, right? if nothing else, he can open things up underneath for other players.
