He looks to be pretty solidified at #2 on Chicago's depth chart. I think he could see a lot of balls thrown at him with Mushin always being doubled. I'm a little worried about the Bear's offense though. It's not quite as formidable as the Bengal's, so that could detract from his value. This is also Bernard's magical 3rd year in the league. Who else is out there that you think could blow up this year?

Berrian isn't as good nor does he have a similar skill set as Hoosh. Also, Mush isn't as good as CJ and Grossman/Griese isn't as good as Palmer. So, my answer is no I don't see any similarities and don't see much of a chance of this happening.

Mark Bradley is the guy with the brightest future there. Berrian is a nice speed WR, but I don't see him as a bonafide starter in the NFL. I expect Rashied Davis will also get some snaps as the #2 - generally a WR2BC for the Bears.

Curious to know what you think Bradley's ceiling is (he's a FA in one of my dynasty leagues). And I'm pretty sure no one will care if I hijack this thread.

I initially thought of Bradley when I saw this thread - he was really coming on last year before his injury. Given that we've seen the likes of Braylon Edwards return very quickly from his ACL last year, it's possible that Bradley could as well. I'm not close to the situation, but I'm guessing if he shows something early, he could move up to #2. And as for the lackluster passing game, it certainly doesn't look that good with Grossman, but could markedly improve if Griese takes over at some point.

The understatement of the year.Berrian is a decent deep threat, but will never be anything close to Housh. He is only starting because the Bears didn't sign anyone better for some reason & Bradley is coming off a torn ACL.

Don't forget about Chad Johnson too.
DING. Fries are done. For an NFL WR2 to be a viable FF WR, he needs at least three of the following ...

1 - The potential to be a WR1 in the NFL

2 - A stellar WR1 drawing the best CB and/or double coverage

3 - A good QB who doesn't tunnel to the WR1 all the time

4 - A reliable running game

WR2's Reggie Wayne, Anquan Boldin, and TJ Housh have the aforementioned. Heck, I might even throw Terry Glenn in that group.

The Bears have only one of those things benefitting their WR2.

Anquan Boldin does not belong in that group. He put up 1300 and 8 without Fitz. He averages more catches and yards per game than Fitz. He is not a WR2.
