TNF - MIN vs TB (1 Viewer)

I'm not so sure that wasn't a pick. I can't believe they didn't even look at it.
We never saw another angle live...that doesn't mean that the booth guys didn't look at one.If the player was clearly OOB on another angle, there's no reason to buzz the officials since they would have made the RIGHT call. The view we had on TV left things less than clear, but the official had a perfect viewing angle...no reason to believe or suspect he got that wrong.
 You could see everything on TV. Feet, ball, etc. What else was there to see? The only question was a judgment call as to what point he had "possession".
Really? I don't remember seeing a replay, and the live version was zoomed out quite a bit and on the opposite side of the field. Live, I had no idea if he was in bounds or not.Just because a play looks close live at full speed, doesn't mean that it really was close seen slower from another angle. Blame NFL network for not showing that other angle to us...but don't blame the official in the booth for not buzzing the ref if he saw it and the call on the field was clearly correct. I've seen no reason to disbelieve the call.

Thinking I might have sold low on Martin a few weeks back

Looking at the last 3 weeks leads me to believe teams are seeing something on film that shows a weakness in the run defense. They started the season so well.. :kicksrock:

Hate to say it but.. if the Vikes don't score on this drive I'm going to sleep.. have to get up at 5am and so far nothing worth staying up for.

for a qb with 3tds in the early 3rd, freeman's made some terrible throws.
Jury still out for me. Lots of yapping to his receivers after bad throws.
He just reminds me of a Leftwich type. Someone who can lead you to the playoffs and such but not a franchise QB. I think V-Jax and most importantly Schiano will be good for him and not ask him to do too much but he'll most likely need a Bucs defense of yesteryear to compete with the Saints/Falcons.

Can someone tell me why Tampa continually gets that corner/safety blitz off the end? They are constantly in Ponder's face.

Is it just because the WRs can't get open so they keep sending DBs?

It's good to see Kevin Williams making some plays this game and this season.

He's been great for so many years and to think he should be Ryan Sims.
