does anyone have a real good idea for TO in '06?i have a feeling that he will end up in Dallas, just because Parcells is just about the only coach in the league who can deal with him (he did wonders for keshawn, who you has not been in the news for a long time) but i have also heard denver, miami and atlanta come up in some rumors. if you really have a good idea, reply back

i have a feeling he wont go to dallas, ive heard rumors that the jets are set to make TO an offer after he is cut by the Eagles in February

I don't see how the jets will be able to. I believe they are 30mil over the cap for 06.

I would have to agree that he is going to end up in Dallas. Parcells is probably one of the only coaches in the NFL that can deal with his kind of attitude. If Parcells doesnt return to coach, than I would have to think otherwise, but all signs point to Dallas. He would be a very nice compliment to Keyshawn Johnson.

I think we're underestimating how many teams would still take Owens' talent - baggage and all.Beyond the ones mentioned, there are lots of teams with no bona fide #1 WR that could desperately use a gamebreaking talent like him. Teams like Minnesota (new coach), Buffalo, Atlanta, among others.

I think he's gonna go to Minny along with Phillip Rivers. I think they miss Moss to much and now realize how important a player like him is. C-pep will have to go somewhere though, or be too hurt to come back before next season.

Denver makes the most sense, but I don't know if they could afford him. He would be a monster in that offense, I can only imagine how many tds he would on the play action.

He is an idiot, but there is not a harder working wr in the game. He is the best wide receiver in the game.

WHOO HOOOOO ANOTHER TO THREAD   Who won the latest b-ball game in the driveway??? TIA for info

Phillip Rivers will be in SD. With the injury to Brees the Chargers will look to trade him instead of Rivers

Denver or Atlanta. my gut says Denver. Once they get their cans kicked again by the Colts, this will be Shanny's answer, lmao...As far as ATL, That organization just wants to put "behinds" in the seats so I could see this happening.

Now that's funny. Parcells can "deal with his kind of attitude"? Isn't that what they said about Andy Reid? Nobody can coach this dude. Not even the mighty Tuna. I hope he does go to Dallas. It's a perfect fit. Him and Keyshawn fighting over the spotlight will be a sideshow of epic proportions. I can just see the two of them sitting side by side laughing in August, talking about how much respect they have for each other. By November... they'll both be suspended for dogging each other out on ESPN and Parcells will look like he aged 10 years as he announces he's retiring from football.

True, but they also have to be able to PAY him don't forget. I don't think anyone is underestimating the amount of teams that can and want to do that.

Absolutely, although his market price is likely much more affordable than what it was a couple of years ago.

I just don't see this happening. After the whole riverboat incident, Ziggy Wolf wants to clean up the team's image in the community, mostly to get public support for a new stadium. I don't think he is going to let Owens come to the team to screw all of that up. I am thinking Green Bay (if they try to make 1 final push for a title in order to have Favre back), Denver, or Dallas.

Nah not Green Bay. Ted Thompson isn't a big believer in free agency anyway and he certainly won't bring a troublemaker like TO in..

one of the teams that "comes up short" in the playoffs this year

Redskins. Snyder will work out an under-the-table endorsement deal for him in DC so that he is well paid but not so much on the Salary Cap. TO will be a model citizen just to stick it to the Iggles and McNabb.

Owens doesn't fit in at all with that offense. The Skins don't need a big $$$$ receiver opposite Moss. They are a running team who realy on the deep ball occasionally, and short passing the other times.Denver really makes the most sense, Smith is getting older, and Lelie is more suited to be a # 3. He would really improve that offense (not that is horrible right now).
