Per Rotoworld:

ESPN reports that Terrell Owens has been ruled out for Saturday's preseason game against the Steelers.

Adam Schefter believes that the Bills are growing "very concerned" with the injury. This will be T.O.'s third consecutive exhibition missed since he sprained the toe in the Hall of Fame Game. At age 35, Owens is not showing quick recover ability. We're starting to seriously wonder if he has turf toe.

Any Buffalo homers out there seeing or hearing anything at practice?

Is this a serious concern for the Bills or is TO faking a little to get out of pre-season games? From the way he looked in the Hall of Fame game, I'd say he looked like the beast he is and doesn't need the pre-season.

Dug some more and found this nugget....

Coach **** Jauron ruled out Terrell Owens from playing in Buffalo's preseason game at Pittsburgh on Saturday because the receiver is still not fully recovered from a sprained toe. Owens spent 10 minutes Tuesday working out on his own in practice, the first time he's been on the practice field since taking part in individual drills on Aug. 17.

Jauron said Owens indicated after the workout that it was the best he's felt since getting hurt. Wearing a blue shirt and tights, Owens went through a regimen of running and stepping drills. He showed no sign of a limp and was able to push off both feet. Jauron considered it too early to say whether Owens might be able to play in the preseason finale against Detroit on Sept. 3.
