He definitely did redshirt. From this article, Forster was the name of his former best friend and Scurvy singer who overdosed on heroin (and he named his daughter after). Perhaps that song in the credits was done by him? Makes me wonder how everything would have tourned out for Marinovich if Larry Smith wasn't his college coach. It seems Mike White understood him pretty well but by then he was too far gone. .shrug.
