Cool, I always like to know who I'm missing while I get beer, snacks, go to the bathroom, pick my nose, take out the trash, etc at halftime.

Seems legit to me. The pool doesn't have to be about FF all the time... :confused: . Who performs at the SB is part of the National Football League isn't it? So there for its NFL talk.

Actually, I happened to see that one. But then again, if anything interesting actually does happen, I just drift over to the ole intarweb and check it out. I don't even have to worry about missing the commercials, I can just check 'em out on youtube the next day.

Sorry, but this does not qualify for NFL talk. That's like discussing a USO show in Vietnam as the same thing as going out on a search and destroy mission. It's a novelty act. It has nothing to do with football.But if you think your logic is valid, feel free to post all updates about the possible commercials we will see on SB Sunday....

 
Tom Petty? Don't do me like that! You know, with the Super Bowl only a few short months away, the waiting is the hardest part. Who knows, my beloved Lions could get there! Even the losers get lucky sometimes. I can just see it... Kitna drops back... Roy sprints off into the great wide open... the ball comes free-falling into his hands for a touchdown. If their offensive line doesn't breakdown like usual, they might even win it all!

Who am I kidding? I guess I'm just running down a dream. Even if they make it to the playoffs, others will just tell them, "you got lucky." But trust me, they won't back down!

I guess I should stop now. :pics: I won't come around here no more.

Why not just let the cheer leaders perform and do away with the non football b.s. at half time? All it amonts to is a whiz break and 2 or 3 shots. Missed the ward robe malfuction but saw it over and over again for days on end. Never thought I would get board looking at a hooter. Live and learn.

Nice, if the Lions won it all, they'd be King, just for a while.

FixedIMO, this is a couple of yrs too late as Petty should have done the SB when it was in Jacksonville since he hails from N-FL.

I like Tom Petty, but haven't seen him live for quite some time. Hopefully he 'aint over the hill...

 
With all the cigarettes he smokes and drugs he does, i can't see how he can be much of a difference maker on Superbowl Sunday.

I guess the league really is thin on nickle corners.

 
Super Bowl halftime shows are getting better and better.

It will be hard to ever top Prince singing Purple Rain in the rain, though.

Correction... "The waiting is the hardest part."Seriously, though. I wish they'd let them play a full 20 minutes.I'll bet he plays "Don't come around here no more." with some antics with the Mad-hatter hat. (I hope so, anyway.)
 
I hope he can play don't mess with Texas or the Yellow rose of Texas for the Cowboy players who will be representing the NFC in the Superbowl
