Your story seems fishy to me. Earlier in this thread you also said you talked to someone who contacted the SD front office and received a statement from them regarding this situation. I highly doubt that. I put very little into what you have to say.

That someone working for the Tribune told a member here that there is an FBI investigation about what other Charger players may be involved in the Kiel incident. I find that useful to know if it's true. And I don't find myself required to tell the guy to shut up because he can't prove it's true. That's the way this board works sometimes --- someone posts what they heard, and from where, and we wait and see if it pans out. We've gotten pretty good scoops on Julius Jones and Priest Holmes that way, for example.

Even on the .00001 chance that this is true are you seriously going to go out and trade LT based on this rumor. If you do and this is true more power to you but go ahead and do that for every rumor that ever breezes across your nose.

My source from the Tribune is an assistant editor, so I can't expect this story not to leak soon, probably not from the tribune itself because she told me they won't print anything until arrests are made.

Aren't you worried about naming your source?... the Tribune would likely not be happy about your friend passing this rumor along.I hope he/she either knows or won't mind that you are posting the rumors on a MB and providing a lot of clues to his/her identity as the source.BTW, I appreciate rumors - I'm always interested in them, thanks. . I'm not saying the original poster is right about anything he said, but evidence indicates your claim that there are no female assistant editors at that newspaper is patently false. You may be right about the rest of it, but gave up your credibility by making this up and posting it. You can stop reverse-fishing this thread now.
