Does anyone notice any predictable rhyme or reason why he does well certain weeks?

Some weeks he's a gem, others he's a dud.

His two most productive receiving days have been vs. DAL and @ OAK. 25th and 31st respectively against receiving RB's per Football Outsiders.

Scroll down to 2011 defense vs. Types of Receivers. He's holding very true to the matchups. In the coming weeks, I'd keep an eye on that chart and see if the trend continues. Up next, Miami (23rd) defending receiving RB's. He deserves a long look this week as a flex.

No doubt, but it's such a feast or famine with him.

It's as if he's 100 yards and 5? catches one week and 1 catch for 4 yards the next.

Thank you for the link and info, looks like a good gauge

Thanks for the info. The only thing I may caution is that this early in the season (4 games for Dallas and 5 for Oakland) one of the reasons that Dallas and Oakland may be ranked so low versus pass catching RBs is because LT had such big days against them.
